Ok so I picked up this nice new fat warden from flatfoot. I love it and wanted to know if you have one and your opinion on the fat warden, post pics, pros, cons, whatever. Thanks hogs
I had one and planned it to be a user , I ended up selling it and getting an active duty , it was razor sharp but due to thickness on such a small knife it did not slice very well , other then that it was indestructible , I was prying open crates and just about everything else I could think of , it's only setback was cutting cardboard was a bit annoying and since info a fair bit of that I went for the AD , and a word on the AD , it's amazing , haven't even had to sharpen it yet after about 5 months , that extra RC REALLY holds it own
I really like the penetrator tip on this knife, the sheath should be in the mail by the weeks end. ERIC at mashed cat is hooking me up. So this will be the after work hours edc, call it the ENC, every night carry. I'm stoked, I do wish it was bruiser g10. If I had to complain.

Ok guys, full disclosure, the hope was that someone would have a coated fat warden with bruiser g10 and that they would prefer my satin. While I love the blade the tan micarta just isn't my thing. A picture was posted in the exchange a few pages back about a leprechaun fat warden and in the pic was a black crinkle wrinkle coated fat warden with bruiser g10. Needless to say, I fell in love. If anyone knows where to find one let me know.... If not then this bad boy is going into the spa.
Oh and Jaxx always wins these little contests. His collection is Sick, as in ridiculous, I'm fairy young at this busse thing and I'm only 30, so when I'm old I would hope to have 1/3 of your collection. Hope
I appear to have a bruiser g10 theme arising so I thought I would just go with it. Oh and Gleason, if I can't find one the custom shop will make this one bruiser for me.
I'm still wanting an off duty, inactive duty, key lardo, and porky parkway so when those arrive this one will be available, I'll check with you first Gleason. I love those super thick small Busse knives
Yeah, there were a few coated fatties that measured .280 - I recently sold the FAT Leprachuan Warden you referred to - here's a photo of it and the bruiser you're seeking (note the full swedge rather than a penetrator tip):
a little off subject here, but I see some of the heavy hitters chiming in and thought this might be a good place to ask a question.
I too like the thicker Wardens. I have snagged up a couple in the last few weeks including the .280 Leprachuan that W.T. sold last week. My question is has anyone removed the scales on a thicker, I am thinking .22 variety, warden to essentially make a fatty skeleton warden? I love my regular skeleton warden, but would like something a little more heavy duty for EDC. I think the .22 version would be great, but with the scales it is more bulky and heavy then I would like. I was thinking of removing the scales, wrapping the handle and sending it to Eric for some new kydex. I can't believe someone hasn't already done this....any input or pictures?
