fav benchmade?

My one and only Benchmade is the 556. I really like it. I think that it was well worth the money. My next Benchmade purchase is gonna be a fixed blade. Probley a model 190 or I may go with the Outbounder.

Having owned about every folder Benchmade makes and a lot of other knives I have the say the 710HS is my favorite folder of all time, in all price ranges. I got 3 just in case they ever go out of production :p

I once owned a 710 and I still own a 722, but my favorites are the Griptilians and the Mini-Griptilians.

They have also sent some Spyderco knives back in to storage (Endura, Rescue, Delica, MeerKat, Vesuvius, Endura II, and even my G-10 Police).

If Benchmade came out with a G-10 Mini-Griptilian my EDC search would be over 100%.

Good luck,
Allen.

I really like my 940 in red. However I don't do much heavy cutting. But then there's my M2 AFCK which is awesome. And then the 921 which does the little stuff. And there's my 941TI-01 that's just gorgeous but I can't bring myself to use it. The S30v is tempting me. Oh well. I have a 710 but I don't use it anymore, the blade is chipped and it needs to be sent in. It's really stiff. Anyway, they're all great, I just wish I could carry my 43 with black handles legally. I think overall for the stuff I do, boxcutting and the like, the 940 is best.

Well, you just can't have one! I changed my mind. I currently like the AFCK, 730, 722, 910, 520 and the good ole 970

Probably the Axis AFCK M2 or Axis 710, although i'm not a real fan of recurve blades. On the fixed blades the Nimravus 145 M2 is one of my favorites as a smaller knife. i've done knife throwing with that thing (including whizzing bounce backs.....duck!) cut all manner of wire, you name it. Incredible knife.

I just bought the Benchmade 806D2S.

It has every requirement I needed for an EDC knife. Combo edge, allowable for tip down carry, lanyard or key chain hole, pointy tip, sharp blade, easy open (i am a new found fan of the axis mechanism), and feels nice in my hand.

For 100 bucks its great and I highly recommend it. If they made an automatic version I think i'd soil myself out of pure joy.

For me, as I've said before, it's a 941, preferably in Titanium and S30 V or Carbon Fiber and D2. It's sweet, slick and I carry one of them even more often than my prized and well used Microtech Socom Elite.

The only knife that would challenge the 941 for me in all around comfort, social acceptance and everyday usefulness is a Small Sebenza. All this is based on wearing Khakis and dress shirts a lot.

Is it just me or is this thread costing folks a lot of money! I love Benchmades and have for years... However listening to folks talk about models and such I have not had... well it is getting me itching to try out some I have never got a chance to. Like 710, 730/5 and the like...

By the way... My wife thanks you all! ;)
