My favorite back lock folders are the:

1) Buck 110 (plus the Auto variation)
2) Hattori Kershaw 1050 (plus the 1055 & 1056 variations)
3) Spyderco Native & Police (any Gen &/or variation, except for FRN)

It is a budget blade, but I’m quite fond of the Cold Steel Finn Wolf.

I have one that I've beaten the crap out of-- it's a beast with the Triad Lock. I totally trust it.
When it dulls I can put an razor edge on it in ten minutes. It's such a tank that I'd totally
trust it as a backup to a fixed blade. It can pretty much do every thing a Mora can do.
Next week, I'm buying another one just in case I lose this one. Two caveats:

1) In order to sharpen it, you have to unscrew the thumb stud which is a little tricky.
you have to hold one end that then unscrew the slotted end. If I was carrying it
into the field for longer than a few days, I'd leave it unscrewed.

2) The locking action is still stiff. At first it was impossible but after a few weeks
it loosened up a little. It's still tough to close but I love it.
