Favorite Back Lock/Lockback Knife?

The Buck 112 is as close to my favorite knife as it gets. Now for my ceaseless and tedious rant: Where is my Aluminum 112? I will grovel, if that would help make it a reality.

That would be awesome. The aluminum 110 I have is fantastic and the best put together 110 I’ve handled.

Ok, I now have a new favorite lockback knife. It is my Spyderco Lil’ Native again but this one has CPM 15V blade steel.
Mine as well. Built like a tank, great ergos / steel....hard to beat that one

Gotta go with the Spyderco Delica.

It was my first real EDC over a decade ago. This one is currently in my pocket.

Curious your thoughts on the Stretch 2. Yay Nay or just not worth the time.
I don't have one. To me it's pretty close to being an Endura, but with a finger choil. If you like finger choils, and a lot of folks do, seems like a good option.

I normally prefer knives without a finger choil. Spyderco choils use up part of the blade, so you get less cutting edge for a given blade length. Then too, the choil limits the various grip positions available. You kind of have two available positions with a choil. You have more without the choil. If I really want to bear down on a cut such that the choil position is uncomfortable and I need to grip just the handle, the cutting edge is far out front from the edge of may hand. I don't care for that. I can choke up my grip at least as much on the Endura as I could if there were a choil. So I really see no benefit to a Spyderco finger choil and I see several negatives. YMMV.

Buck 110 bought in the late 70’s.. stayed on my hip through the Harley biker years, Faded away years to come, work places seemed to shy away from carrying larger knives around the floor or Offices! It resides in my dresser drawer, still with the beat up, well worn black leather sheath! It sure brings back lots of fine memories and could tell a lot of stories!

You can't just come here and tell stories like that without posting pictures. There are rules, you know ;)
