Favorite big/small knife combo.

Leaving the ax out of it for a moment, and forgetting the Swiss Army knife that is always nearby, I usually have a midsized. like a Busse Steelheart II and a smaller neck knife [which can also be carried on the hip or on a pack] which currently is a Blackwood Talonite custom hunter.

CJ,Is that the 9 I sold ya on Ebay? How's it doing?

Yup, Brian! A little touch up and it's sharp as ever, and I love the sheath it came with! I just picked up a 7 to compare. The 9 is a great chopper with good balance, but the 7 may be better for the hiking and camping I like in easier areas. Tough choices!

Big: Rogers' Rangers Spiked Tomahawk by American Tomahawk company. Definitely.

Small: Benchmade stryker combo edge.

Unorthodox, but then again this is America.

Stay back! or I'll...OUCH...cut myself.

Not sure its my favorite, but tomorrow I leave for 4 days in the mountains, and will be taking an Ontario Spec Plus Marine Combat and a Running Dog traditional tanto 2001.

For big chopping and clearing, a H.I. 18" UBE
For general big knife stuff, a CR Tanto 1 9"
For all other cutting, like food, etc. the Camillus talonite Talon.

But! I also want to have my ATC Light Infantry Belt hawk with me.
