Favorite Busse, Favorite Handgun

Hey Ken44,

Gotta love the LAW leather. Here is mine with my Glock 22. I have had this EDC combo for over 15 years! This is my American Express Card, I don't leave home with out it.

Asking a HOG to pick their favorite Busse AND favorite handgun is like asking a woman to pick her favorite chocolate!!

Here are two that I have pictures of:

Springfield 1911 and FFBM

Not my favorites.......but what I had available without putting down my scotch......gotta have my priorities in order ;) ......Tamalin is going to be my "affordable" go-to dram. :)......and everyone says that INFI drains the CC limit.......my scotch outlay is closing in on my INFI spending.......I blame Tony_G and OP!!!!!!! :D

im intrigued.

what is it about these designs that appeals to you? i checked their site, and there isn't much info.

all my holsters are cut to fit specific guns, mostly galco or don hume. but im always looking for new and comfortable ways to carry my guns.

I have a feeling there is a story behind this.

Looks like it might be a great little holster for appendix carry. Seems like most of us like to carry between 1 and 5 (or 7 and 11) but Mercop was just down here for a class, and he demonstrated how difficult it can be to draw from those positions when you're pinned under an attacker or against a wall because it becomes hard to get your elbow back enough to actually pull the gun.

It's got me thinking...

I wil try to grab some pics of my faves tomorrow.

Don't mean to derail the thread, but I am curious... What was his recommendation? (Guessing between 11 & 1?) He seems to really know his SD.

I've had mine for about 15 years but not used it like Gator has his. I usually carry a smaller gun in galco's.
But for a larger gun the Law can't be beat IMHO.
You can carry a large gun in it and the thick flap that comes over belt makes the gun outline very hard to see. Thats its main appeal.

Another is that it has stiching coming up a bit in the bottom middle of sheath.
You decide on the draw according to which side you put tip of barrel in.
After time it will mold to fit your gun very well, as you can see in Gator's pic.
Also very easy to take on and off.
Very thick leather and from what I've heard there about bomb proof. I highly recommend if you need a tough holster that hides the profile of a larger gun.

Gator has used his much more than I and can maybe add some more about the LAW.

edit- forgot to add its the most comfortable holster for a full sized gun that I have ever worn.

He mentioned that appendix carry would make the gun more accessible in a CQ physical altercation. 11-1 o'clock depending on which is your strength.

OK, here we go. First off I am not a LEO. I do not carry concealed in my line of work. I, thankfully, live in a state that is open to our Second Amendment rights and allows / permits concealed weapons concealed carry. I am an average "Joe" who is exercising my rights to personal protection.

I chose the LAW holster for ease of concealed carry. The LAW holster allows for numbers positions (please forgive my ignorance of position carry). I have carried my Glock in the pants, small of back, coat pocket, and side without any problems. I have driven many of hours with this rig without discomfort (minding local and state laws of course). As you can see from my pic, the LAW holster conforms to the firearm. Of course this rig is over 15 years old! I swear by it. I have used other "in the pants" holsters, but the LAW is the one for me.
