My Cobra is a big block 427, for there is nothing else like the sound and torque of the old school big block stuffed in a small, light weight package.I was definitely a small-block V-8 guy.
Thank you, yes, fiberglass. Definitely a very advanced level. I’ve owned a Porsche and a few Mustangs with turbos and even one with a supercharged engine. This Cobra is on a whole different level of just raw power. There is no power assist braking or steering, no traction control, just 1965 technology. There is nothing else like it that I have ever driven or ridden in including a Ferrari Daytona driven by one of their retired race drivers. It took me six months to begin to be able to really drive it with a comfortable level of confidence. It demands 100% focus 100% of the time, but it is an experience like no other.Beautiful cobra
427 in those are no joke. Definitely a more advanced drivers car.
I’m guessing fiberglass body ?
Smokey and the BanditI think I would like the trans am.
The toss up would be between Smokey and the Bandit or K.I.T.T.
Looks like the box of Hot Wheels that I grew up with. Nice wheels all!LX SS, XU1, SLR 5000...... HOLDEN TORANA

My kids were asking me about this a couple of weeks ago. For me it has to be the 1968 Chevelle SS!
Such amazing lines in this design! Very Knife-inspired!
Mine had the 327 Small Block V-8 that I had dyno-tested at over 400 HP after the rebuild. It had a B&M 400 Turbo Transmission that wound into a 12 Bolt Posi rear end with a 454 Gear! (Way too much gear for daily driving)
The only differences between the '68 and the '69 Cevelles were the shape of the rear lights, no center bar on the front grill, and the most important design feature ever. . . Front Wing Windows!
Those front wing windows provided the '68 Chevelle with 6-70 airconditioning!!! (6 Windows down at 70 miles an hour!).
My brother Dan and I built this puppy on our own. His fave car was a '63 Impala Convertible with a 283 V-8. It wasn't fast but it purred when you drove it!
I was definitely a small-block V-8 guy. Many of my friends thought small blocks were simply meant to be used as starting motors!!!
Let's Drink!
