Favorite Classic Muscle Car Of All Time???

The Challenger from the early 70's has always been a grail car for me. Not that I'll ever have one.
A girlfriend's brother had an Olds 442 that I believe had the 455 in it. That thing would light up the tires for days.
So, those two for me.
Father in law has a 1970 Mach 1 with the 351(?) Cleveland in it. He bought it new in 1970. He keeps it in his garage under a cloth cover, and brings it out several times each summer for a Cruise In that he runs. It has all original parts, except where things have worn out and originals couldn't be sourced for replacement.

I really loved this El Camino, 66, fake ass SS, Rootbeer brown, giant rainbow flake, started sparkling 20 feet away.

But my heart was always with Mopar~ The last Charger (total rust bucket - or custom weight reduction :D still a 440, made shitload of noise 😂 I had of 2 but best body ever hammered out of metal for me? 68' Roadrunner~ Closest I got was a 69 Belvedere (leaning tower of power) ~

Great thread. Love the eye candy. I'v owned many and now none, lol. But my favorite was likely my 66 GTO. My second was my 67 GTX. I'll try to find pics.

AC cobra and 63 split window corvette for me.

My dad used to have a 63 vette back in the day.
He tried to show me how to work on it when I was a kid. I always called it the “yucky car” due to some exposed fiberglass and unfinished interior. lol

Random pic but same color.

My neighbor in my home town had a cream color 66 split window vette. And man I loved that thing.

Way back in the late 70's, when I was in high school, there was a guy who dropped a Porsche engine into a VW Beetle.
You'd be driving along the city ring highway and this thing would go blowing past at 80+ mph.

In the 80's at university a guy took a Russian Lada 4-door and dropped a Fiat Spyder V8 into the engine compartment.
He used to drive around trolling for suckers. The only tell that it wasn't a stock Lada was the dual exhaust pipes.
Reminds me of my buddy back in high-school who dropped a 454 BB in his 69 firebird. It took some doing but he managed to get it done.

That being said, she bought herself her own muscle car 2 years ago, and I like it quite a bit: a 54 Handyman. Rebuilt in Long Beach, then it went to NC, from where we brought it back to CA.

That roof is from an old VW Bus, BTW, which I discovered after having to replace some (metric!) screws.
I love everything about these pics. Classic car, doggos and busse blades! That's a winning combo 👌

Man, I'm not gonna google it, but Prancing Horses, late 70's/ more 80s. Jeez I want to say 308GTB but IDK, that color? ... So am I close TENTEX TENTEX ???
