We use my Grandmother's set of Corelle/Pyrex tableware that we've added to over the years through the internet & flea markets. My OCD with this kind of stuff does not allow me to own a coffee mug that doesn't match the set so here is my favorite mug by default. Good news is if I ever break it there's 7 more. :D

We had the Butterfly Gold pattern in the early 70's, microwaves took their share of them. They would explode sitting in the cabinet. We gave them away some years back and now use Fiestaware (microwaves don't phase it).

We still use the new Corelle for our cereal and ice cream bowls, they're incredibly lightweight and cheap to replace.

I don't actually like mugs....inherited that prejudice from my Ma:D Has to be a CUP larger the better..gets complaints from people that there's no tea or coffee for others....;) Somebody even said my cup was the size of a Chamber Pot....well I do have an antique one from the grandparents but I think I'll refrain from trying drinks out of it!
