If it were me, i'd buy both and enjoy them. You won't regret buying either but for me the Kasper is more iof a defensive design and the point guard more of a utility design. But that's just me speaking - why we like certain knives is a very personal thing.
I've handled a custom crawford KFF but not the CRKT version, so I can't advise on it. But I've bought a point guard for a friend for Xmas and was very, very tempted to keep it. It really nestles down in the hand, with a very nice balance. No blade play, opening was smoother than my custom Crawford (!) and lockup was good. Also ended up ordering a small point guard for the friend's wife who saw it and pestered him to get her one as well. Naturally, I also ordered one more for myself.
If you're looking for other models, the small Gray Ghost and Urban Shark are very nice knives as well (i've got both). Both were smooth opening, sharp right out of the box (something Benchmade will do well to emulate), and locked up well.
