ESEE(Rc)-3 rides on my Max. 10x4 waterbottle carrier and goes on every hike with me. An ESEE(RC) Izula rides in the front pocket of my jeans. No matter where I go the Izula is my constant companion.

My BRKT Aurora is one of the greatest knives I own.I really love that knife.

My Fallkniven S1.No matter how long I set that knife down for every time i pick it back up it always makes me smile when i use it.Great knife.

My A.Wright & sons.bushcrafter.It's just a joy to use.Great knife.

RC-3. You don't need anything more than that and you can mount it in a million different ways so it doesn't matter what type of pack (if any) that you're carrying.

Just because supplies are limited doesn't make it custom. It is similar to bark river, maybe, semi custom.

As for me, it's my Fox River.

Busse is not a factory???

It's not a handmade custom knife

Please explain why you think Busse is not a factory made knife....

Order 5700.
It aint a " factory"
Buck is.
Fallkniven is.
Case cutlery is.
Spyderco is.
Gerber is.

Still confused ?

Busse aint.
Even the" little guys" here all have somewhat of a model range.

Busse is a religion.
Here comes the moderators.;):grumpy::eek:

Busse is a factory!
if spyderco has a sprint run and only makes 500 does that mean that knife is not factory?

To argue that Busse isn't a factory is like saying
Rolls Royce isn't a factory.

But back to the original question, my answer is Busse Active Duty.

As far as factory knives go... for hiking and day trips the SOG Team Leader and Team Leader Survivor are good knives. Both are the same great 5" blade size for a good woods blade, and have a full flat grind that's great for slicing and whittling.. the Survivor, with it's saw spine, gives a little extra capability in a small light weight package that comes razor sharp and can take some abuse. Pics here....

But lately I'm really liking the RAT/ESEE knives for the stout full tang construction, full flat grinds that I have apparently developed a serious like for in small knives, fantastic edges, their great serration design, and their great multiple carry options. I can relocate them from my belt to the shoulder straps of my pack to my pocket with no hassle at all. Also they are great knives at great prices and made here in the U.S. with a no questions asked warranty...they are really hard to beat. There are pics of the ones I have here...
