Favorite Ka-bar?

My personal favorite Ka-bar is the original USMC or the Kukri. I'd really like to have the FIN fixed blade though. I really don't know anything about that knife, there's not that much information on it.
 
I love the look of the D2 Extreme, but my favorite that I own right now is the D2 Impact - great lines... wish it was 1095 though.
 
Ive only had one. The USMC. Some scumbag stole it. That old used knife deserved a better fate. With me it was cherished and loved. Id hold her, caress her, kiss her , chop a fish head off...
 
I have a Ka-Bar that has U.S.ARMY instead of USMC stamped on the blade and the sheath. I was in the Army so this right for me. I don't like to buy knives (or any thing else) that has a branch of service that I never was a part of.
 
Used a Kabar Mule for a while now. Little big for edc but performs well especially in heavier tasks!
 
Does anyone have a Ka-bar Fin fixed balde? I have a feeling it would be a great knife, but there's not enough info about it. The only information I know is teh artical in TK.

I have been looking for info on the fixed FIN for a while now! let me know if you find anything!
 
i have a fully serrated mini tdi that i use as an edc occasionally and i love that knife... got it cheap, holds a good edge, takes abuse, and came with a decent sheath

Yeah I know it's frustrating. I've seriously looked all over the internet, and can't find any reviews or anything. If I find something I'll make sure to tell you. And if you find something about it, inform me too. I do know that you can get one for a great price at Tomar's Ka-bars. This site gives the best prices I've seen on Ka-bars.
 
What's my favorite Ka-Bar? Black Thorn.

It's a great little pocket knife.

I've got a Ka Bar D2 Combat Knife.

Seems nice, but I've never done anything with it other than slice paper to test the edge and then put it away. I liked the idea of having a fixed blade but never had the occasion to use it.
 
This one here. I just got it today at a gun show. The KDB1.

That's ok. We will not hold that against you.:)

I spent 8 years in the corps and both Ka-bars I have owned were the WWII repo with the USMC markings. The knife can do just about anything.
 
My favorite fixed blade from Ka-Bar is this micarta handled boot knife "The Kid"...

High Carbon- Tomars site is very nice! I will probably end up ordering a fixed FIN after Xmas out of pure curiosity, since I can't find a whole lot of info on it. When that happens, I see if I can do a review on it!
