Favorite Kershaw Knife?

Just bought a orange G-10 Tyrade off the bay, sure looks sweet! Bidding on a Junkyard Dog II

Oh ya, but my fav. so far is my vintage Kershaw boot knife with stag scales, made in Germany.

This is like asking which one of your children you love the most. If I had to pick one and only one I would say it's my Blue Ti Bump. The Ti SG2 JYDII follows behind with a ridiculously close second. SG2 Blur follows the JYDII.

All I own are Kershaws and ZTs. You're askin' me to pick ONE?!?

I.... can't. I just can't. Although the ones that get the most pocket time are:

ZT 0610ST/0500 MUDD/0300
Spec Bump
Leeks
Shallots
Zing!
Frankenblurs

Wait, I almost listed them all. I really do rotate through them monthly. :D

Leek. Plain. Old. Leek. Stainless handles, good enough steel, assisted opening, slim, strong, great blade shape, great edge profile, great point tip. Why get all fancy? ;)

I love all my kershaws. Every single one I've bought has been my primary edc until it gets replaced by another kershaw. Right now, I'm loving my OD-1.

So many hard choices.

Right now (especially since I got an STR low ride clip on it) my 110v Shallot has seen almost all the pocket time.

I do really like my Spec Bump and NRG 2 as well.

Kershaw 1416 XXL Starkey Ridge
Pic is 1415 Starkey Ridge. The only difference is 1416 is larger.

For right now, its a toss up between my od-1 and my composite leek. That may change when my g10 tyrades show up :D

Another for the composite shallot.

The mudd ain't half bad either.

Also the JYD IIs (composite D2, SG2 and normal) is a good value for money and excellent cutting blade design. Looks cool too!

Cast my vote for the 110v Shallot as well. How a knife that slender could be such a secure handful, I don't know. Guess it's really a tribute to design.

It's large enough to be useful, but it takes up almost no room in the pocket when clipped to it.

Such a question, such a question. As far as the Kershaw lineup goes.....not to include the ZT models, my favorite would be the original titanium Tyrade. But I really hope that changes today when my black G-10 Tyrade arrives. Ever since getting the original Tyrade I've thought how sweet that knife would be in the G-10 form, and then this past Feb. Thomas W. says the magic words; "It will be produced". So I'll find out in several hours!

Throw in the ZT lineup, and I have to add in the ZT0200 series, along with the ZT0500 MUDD offering.

My favorite is this Leek composite blade with the D2 edge. I think Kershaw is making a lot of great knives lately and should be moving up in popularity in a lot of markets. I am very impressed with Kershaw in the last few years.

AHHHH ,, no one for the "Needs Work" ? Been my do it all for 8-9 months now. I like it.

The only thing that keeps me from carrying that knife more is that it's a little fat. Feels good in the hand, but not so much in the pocket. It really is a nice knife.

My favorite is the Leek. The CB & Damascus are my favs.

I have 7 Leeks so far.

My favorite go to knife for hard use is my Spec Bump. It's so comfortable in the hand and the blade shape is useful for a variety of chores.

Wow. Tough question. I have one special Kershaw that was given to me by a true friend. It has been vacuum sealed and will never leave the gun safe. That one is my favorite, but that's all I'm sayin about that one!

Break it down!

Onion: Ti/ZDP Mini Cyclone.
Williams: ENER-G
Hawk: RAM
Galyean: Ti/SG2 JYD
Martin: Groove

Other favorites and EDC'ers: BOA, Blur, ZT0200, ZT0350, ZT0500

"Cutting Edge Works": Shallot ZDP composite blade, 110V Shallot, OD-1

So there is my (short list) favorite Kershaw!
