I know a bunch of us are zombie movie nuts and killing game freaks. When you're not outside practicing bushcraft or survival skills, what games do you play to keep your zombie hunting skills sharp? What are your favorite first person shooters and other killing games. I'm still waiting to find a game out there that combines a zombie adventure and some sort of survival stuff. What do you guys play?

My favorites are:
Time Crisis II (not zombies but still fun)
all of the Resident Evils
all Dooms
GTAs are all fun but again no zombies

The Resident Evil games have all been awesome. I played a couple of the Silent Hills too, very creepy! It's not a zombie game, but right now I am completely addicted to Call Of Duty 4 on the PS3. It's the best shooter I have ever played.

Same here with RE and the Silent Hill games. I was impressed with how well they kept the creepiness in the SH movie. Still playing Mercenaries once in a while on PS2 and Battlefield Vietnam on the 'puter. All time favorite has to be Comanche Gold though...

Anyone remember a zombie arcade game called "Slaughterhouse" ? Then of course there's Urban Dead, where it's more fun to play as a zed.....

I love Resident Evil. The first game I purchased with my PS1 was the original R.E. Great game.

I'm still on the expansion set of Star Craft. I don't get as much time these days to play, it it's a great game.

Nothing beats RE 2 in my book, I loved to use the cheats and walk through every level with every possible weapon and as every character.

-Dead Rising looks great!

Dead Rising is great fun. Get ahold of the mini chainsaws and the power ups for them, and you can just run around massacring everything in your path.

Favorite shooter of all time would have to be the original Tribes. I loved being able to fly around and snipe people while in the air...good times.

My current time waster is Super Mario Galaxy, which is a ridiculously good game. Not a shooter, but easily one of the best games of all time.

Half life 2 Deathmatch. It has some really fun weapons, custom maps, low gravity servers and other neat stuff.

I love all of the Medal of Honor series, the Call of Duty series. Right now I am still really caught up in Battlefield 2.

I work out on the chipmunks and red squirrels in my front yard, with .17 air rifle, pretending I'm Carlos Hathcock, Marine sniper.

Edit: How many people do you think ever got away with calling him "Halfcock"?

I actually got into playing video games pretty recently after a friend showed me something called Armed Assault. It's great!

I can't play any game for very long before I modify it to better suit my tastes.

Killing games I've made a mod for include-
-Half Life 2 (huge changes)
-Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield
-Mafia
-Max Payne
-Max Payne 2
-Counterstrike

I like Tom Clancy's games- especially the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series. But, I play so little, I forgot the title of that second one- had to go check on it.

Gotta love Dead Rising, my sole reason for buying an XBOX 360!!!

No matter what FPS gets released, me and my friends always find outselves goin back to basics and playing the original Unreal Tournament. That games been a staple on my computer for years.

Don't play none of the fancy electronic games. Especially in the bush. But I do participate in the greatest game of all, so when I'm out, I usually have my recurve bow with me and I do a lot of roving (stump shooting), which is basically shooting at this and that, from this and that angle (unknown) and this and that distance (unknown). Limb overhangs and Y splits in the trees are more than welcome as they make the shots a bit more interesting. Always rov using my broadhead tipped arrows, which fly exactly like my hunting arrows, cause they are my old hunting arrows.

Never seen a zombie in the bush, but if I did, I wouldn't miss! :D

LMAO
practicing your zombie survival skills, freakin clowns
I play halo, at least I dont get it mixed up with survival skills though

Three of my all time favorite games are the Farcry: Instincts games for Xbox and Xbox 360. They are survival games, but with a twist. You get feral powers like being able to see in the dark as if it was daylight, see scent trails of the mercenaries and tribal warriors, claws, become much stonger than a normal human, and being able to run about 40 miles an hour. Its great fun, especially on Xbox Live!
