favorite knives

You have good taste my friend. I have most of those including the JYD II.

What knife is that last one in the bottom of each pic? Looks like a beast.

Thanks! It's a Trident Knives/Crusader ForgeVIS 01 T> Great knife.

Mine are nothing fancy: Finnish kivimäki puukko with birch handle and carbon steel blade. Around 12 years old. Its been there with me everywhere. It was my trusty companion in the army. With that puukko, I can survive almost anywhere... and it gets pretty wicked edge... It was my razor in army ^^ It cost about $70 or $80 USD's when I bought it... given or taken few bucks since calculus isn't my strong side.

Victorinox pioneer soldier. I love that knife. I've been carrying one ever since I got it 7 or 8 years ago.

Burt Foster Dark Side Knife, I've had this for about a month or so and am in love with it. It doesn't show the brownish spots that look like rust in person, for some reason my camera decided to show it.

I really like that Burt Foster:thumbup:

Case Swayback Jack.

.

I absolutely love the wharncliffe blade. It's super easy to sharpen, has a very sharp point, and it just looks classy. I'm also a big fan of the reverse curvature in the handle, as it makes for really easy pull-cuts. Beautiful blade and small enough that I can pull out anywhere without anyone freaking out.

S&W Extreme Ops. This one is my EDC and has seen a ton of abuse over the last 6 years.

My Emerson CQC15 has been my EDC for over a year but my new favorite is the Emerson Persian clipped to my right pants pocket. The feel and balance suit me perfectly and the blade is elegant, simple and sinister.
I love how the needle sharp point gets into the tight places while the simitar-shaped edge slices like a fillet knife on steriods.

Lile first blood, Becker BK9, Sog seal Knife 2000, Swiss army soldier, Case tiny toothpick and my big Victorinox cimeter slicing Knife.

The Benchmade 940 is my favorite knife overall; had it for about 10 years and it hasn't let me down yet. Thin, lightweight, strong, portable, durable, solid, fast-opening, and very functional.

My favourite is from the knife maker Alan Wood of Cumbria, England.

It has a 'Twist' pattern Damasteel 5" blade and she is 9¾" in overall length. The handle is Elephant Ivory over a full tapered tang backed with slim red & black liners, and held with gold pins. The bolster is 925 Sterling silver and has been engraved for me by Simon Lytton.

good one............

I'm talking about a Boker Titan Defender.

Yes, it's awesome, isn't it. I see myself buying a knife from this series. The Lightweight and the Worker (which has 440C steel) are also attractive, and so are the hunting variants.

Sorry for no pics but I just recieved my BM Nagara and I'm in love to the point that I won't let my girlfriend touch it. And we share everything, even razors.

Yes it is a beautiful knife, and my I don't let my girlfriend touch my knives at all.

my fave is an old laminated rj richter mora that was my grandfathers, it had the dual fingerguard (i think they called this a scout pattern or boy's knife?). I removed the fingerquard, resheathed it, and absolutley love it.

Of my fixed blades this is a simple and under rated one I think. Spderco Moran FB01. Light weight, handy and strong. Cost me, IIRC, about $40. or so some years back.

Another favorite is a #33 Elk Skinner by Barry Dawson. The 3 1/2" of cutting blade and the shape of the burl maple scales make it quite useful for a number of tasks. I got it from Barry last year for a good price.

Last up is a blade I got for $25 at a garage sale some years back. Polished carbon steel blade and bone handle. Useful patch knife.

I just received a large Sebenza 21 w.African Blackwood inserts at Christmas and carried it for a few days, but then the call of this Titan Defender got to me and it is now in my pocket again.

I waiting for the Lightweight Titan Defender to become available in the US, and I don't think it will be long at all until it is available. The full green canvas micarta scales and the stonewash blade will make this one a real user. I still can't get over the Strider AR thick (.100") liners on the knife. It is a BULLDOG!

Also going to try and get the 2009 Damascus Boker as it is the Titan Defender with a damascus blade.

I took a chance when I bought the Titan Defender as I could have purchased a CRK Umnumzaan for the money the TD cost me. But once I got it and had a chance to play around with it I was sold 100% on it.:thumbup:
