51OT

I just totally dig my 51OT. It has totally blown away all other traditionals in the kitchen. It's like a portable chef's knife. Great belly and depth. Thin, flat grind. Wow.

Ok, you guys worked me into a froth over that 51OT and now I have a nice old example on the way! :D

It will be a good stablemate to my 25OT!

not sure how traditional it is but this bad boy is one of my favorite knives period. GEC #99 farmer lock in nife brite it is O1 steel and it gets crazy sharp. Here it is next to my bfc skyline for scale.

Upon reading the whole thread I guess I'm not the only one to like this one

Wow Blues, those are stunners! Love that top one! I just ordered this, couldn't resist. Not my photo.

Thank you. I love 'em all. That's the only lockback I've ever had Ken build for me...well, that is unless you count this one:

@steel130...I didn't notice your $300 limit in the original post, (just saw "custom" or "production"). Let me know if you want me to delete the images I posted above. Apologies.

No, no worries at all. My budget could probably flex some for such stunners as those :). Very nice pieces indeed. Does Ken have a website?

I don't have any $300 knives , but I have been friends with this old browning for many years ,,,

WOW! Elliott, I am blown away by this one! Right up my alley. Just stunning.

Thanks, Alex. This was the first lockback that Ken built based upon his "Junior Michigan Pen" pattern (at my request). We usually refer to this one as the "Cub".

My fav lockback is the Okapi ratchet knife from South Africa. This is my favorite knife.
I love the look of it, it's very light to carry and does everything I need it to.
