Favorite revolver?

The Smith has one of the nicest triggers I've felt, the Ruger is fun to shoot, it's more accurate than I am.

The Model 36 sleeps at the headboard, the Security 6, in the night stand drawer.

..........and Busse content, kinda balances out the shot (pun intended :o)

Lunde, I've had that photo on my computer for several years now, I remember when you posted it over at the S&W forum (I'm zephyr there and on sigforum) :)

How do you like those Nills? I have a 2.5 inch 686-4 7 shot. I have a set of Ahrends round butt stocks on it now but they don't quite fill my hand enough. Do you happen to remember the model number of those stocks?

I love WHEELIES and it looks like you guys have a nice selection!

I really like my Ruger Bisley that was made into a 5 shot .45 Colt by David Clements.

I also like my 4" Python, and my 3" 686, and .....

:D

Like I said I LIKE WHEELIES!!

The Nills are their #SW039HOC8 grips. I originally had Ahrends grips on this revolver, but the Nills feel so much better. Here is a photo of it with the Ahrends grips:

And, a shot from the business end:

Those Ahrends look very similar to mine. Thanks for the model number, I just emailed mactec

SW model 327. 8 shot .357 that I carry everyday with two spare moon clips full of XPD.:D

I have a S&W mod. 19 with a 6" barrel. Nothing spectacular about the looks, but the feel and balance are great. Plus she is the best shooting pistol I have ever shot. No pics now, but I will try to post some later.

THE "Rolls Royce" of Handguns The Colt Python

God Made Men, But Sam Colt Equalized Them.

I have to agree. I've shot the Smiths and Rugers, of course, but I do love my Python -- in royal blue.

You might also enjoy firing a few rounds from an Anaconda... :D

Really pi**ed me off when Colt stopped making these beauties.

the python trigger is easily the smoothest i have ever pulled on a revolver.

Here is my S&W 19, 6" barrel posing with a meaner street variant. The S&W 19 is not much to look at, but it is a heck of shooter.
