"I just cannot stand the hump and eye hole in most blades. " I kind of felt this way at one point but i got so used to that look that i got over it.They are just too good a knife not to have.I do like the sabre grinds better ; i wish they made a military with a sabre grind.

The hump can be a barrier to comfortable thumb placement for me. The other big issue is forced placement of my trigger finger with some models. Another issue is that while it works for me on the Dragonfly, I don't love back locks. So that all limits the enjoyment I can have with some of the more popular models.

Every once in a while though, they throw me a bone on potential modifications and don't have the liners bumping out under my trigger finger. It lets me do mods like these on my Sage 5. Especially for those without these hang-ups, I feel like the Sage 5 should be up here.

The Spyderco Jess Horn. The Baby Jess Horn is an even easier carry, but doesn't have the San Mai cool factor.

But on your list, pound for pound, dollar for dollar the Delica is one of the finest EDC's around.

I currently am only carrying 2 knives with a hole opener... The Benchmade Mini Grip and the Benchmade Mini AFCK.

Pics of the Jess Horn... bask in its awesomeness.
