Rob -- You don't drop a picture like that on us without details, man! Price, blade length, spine thickness?? That thing looks great, lotta features I love on it.
OK OK, he he he, I was teasing you guys! The big knife is of 1/4" thick A-2, freeze treated and Rockwell 60, with a ceramic bead blast finish ala Kit Carson. There is 9" of cutting edge on the 10" blade, with about an inch of forward finger groove. From pommell to front of the OD/Green/Black linen micarta handle, is 5 1/2". Actual length of the micarta is a bit less than 5 1/4" The widest area of the blade is 1 15/16ths. and the narrowest is 1 11/16ths. Thong hole on the hammer pommell is 1/4". Handle is secured with heat treated carbon steel socket head 6/32 cap screws. The Parasite blade is of Talonite and is 5 1/2" oal with 2" of cutting edge. For those of you that dont know, the parasite blade slips in the right handle scale and locks in place. So if you are packing the big blade but need a small one, a tug on the parasite blade frees it from the handle for use without drawing the big knife. The sheath is of .090 Woodland parretn concealex, with an adjutable hight belt loop. I will have this knife at the Blade Show West in a couple weeks if any of you guys and gals will be there you can take a lok at it. The parasite I have been playing with for years, and I thought it was an original idea but then find out other makers have done somethig similar. I would like to think I am popularizing it however. I got some funny e-mails once from overseas and dont be surprised if you see this in a production knife sometime. CD, I cant afford to make one in Talonite for myself! ha ha Joe, posting a price would be a big no no! I actually dont really have it priced anyway. Alo, forgot that there is a double arrowhead fileworked on the tang.

You guys need to check out Hood's forum more often, Rob posted this up there a few days ago and got offers for it in minutes, no surprise there really.

Wow, Rob, now that's a knife! I'm gonna have to get around to your table at Blade Show West early enough to get a close-up look before someone makes you an offer you can't refuse.
Y¹know, a bunch of years ago, I had something called a Brewster Knife. Cool handle, lots of tricks, big blade. I think I¹ll give that one a go for a survival knife.
