What I found quite interesting in this video is that he said the 5.1 was his all time favourite for a while, but now the 5 has kinda taken its place.

Yes! Me too! I'm such a dork I actually backed the video up to see if that's what he really said. I've seen quite a few of his videos and have been subscribed to him just about as long as anyone I'm subscribed to. That change in favorite knife meant a lot coming from him.

Also, from what I've seen on social media he seems to have a good relationship with Guy.

I reckon if Chris from prepared mind 101 got his hands on the 7/7 or even the 5.1, that BK7 would no longer be his first love!

I edited my first post in this thread so hopefully other SURVIVORS! will share their favorite YouTube channels. It could be very educational for me!

I hadn't hears of Sigma 3, but I'm going to check them out. Preparedmind was a channel that was really helpful to me a couple years ago as I was first getting into quality knives. He's seemed to get a little more, I don't know, attitude or something over the years, maybe it's just me.

It's not just you! I've also noticed he seems to limit his review to only a few knife brands (which happen to be the ones he sells!). The main reason I'm still a subscriber is because he reviews some decent outdoor gear aside from knives.

I'm sure some of you would have seen a few of the GSO reviews on the Living Survival (formerly Martin Survival) channel.
 
I forgot about Martin Survival! I like that guy!

I've watched a few reviews from "prepared"mind101 and I wasn't impressed at all with anything he said. They were all on knives I've owned in the past and his impressions were the exact opposite of my opinion and many other people's opinions. It's as if he bashes a company because they won't give him free stuff and that's not right in my opinion.

I was able to pick up one of the TMP versions he starts talking about at 22:44. Only Survive! Safe queen I own.
 
I wanna see more of Guy's r&d videos.

Good snag yesterday apple. Good deal on that 3.5. :) I was debating the no sheath thing and you snagged it. Nice. You got a deal.

I do love Guy's videos, but I get why he may be preoccupied now ;)

I couldn't believe how fast both 3.5's sold!
