Which SAK is your favorite right now?

Mine:
Victorinox Fieldmaster.

Runner-up:
Victorinox Soldier

Cheers,
Allen.

An old Victorinox my pop gave me years ago. I'm not sure on the model, but the Victorinox site doesn't have the one I own pictured.

I like the Outrider as my first choice then the Rucksack as my second! I carry the Outrider with a multi tool that has no scissors, because the Outrider has scissors! I carry the Rucksack with a Multi tool that has scissors! Just a combination thing I came up with!

I recently received a Wenger Tradesman. I know most people prefer Victorinox, but I have to say this knife is absolutely beautiful. The fit and finish are perfect, and it has the right combination of tools for me, including a phillips screwdriver, adjustable pliers, and scissors, all in a compact package. It's a knife worth looking into.

I am partial to the Explorer. I have had one for 10 years, and it is still going strong. I recently bought an Explorer plus. A writing pen, a straight pin, and the corkscrew screwdriver is added. It has everything that I want.

Too many to chose from, I keep changing my mind! But overall utility vs. size, I keep coming back to the Vic. Fieldmaster.

Every time this topic comes up, I always have to reply the same: Soldier!

EDC since Sept. 2004, the longest continuous period that any knife/tool has occupied pocket space :)

i carry a swisschamp everyday in a clip sheath on my belt, it has basically everytool i can think of useing and a few i cant, lol.

Aside from the Stayglow Climber (fun factor), my user-abusers-faves are the small Tinker and Swisschamp.

My absolute favourite is the Victorinox Soldier. Simple, stout and beautiful. I just love it

Lately I've been using SAKs with few tools, because I also EDC a larger folder (fixed blade when outdoors) and a multitool. I've tried some of the Wenger SAKs, the Wood Line Classic (very handsome little knife) and one of the locking models. They are a tad smaller than the regular Victorinox, but they are well built and sharp as hell.

Another favourite is my modified One-hand Trekker. I removed the serrations and gave it a scary sharp plain edge, it's just as good as my Hunter but I can open it with one hand.

Come to think of it, the only SAKs I don't really like too much are the giagantic, very wide ones like the Swisschamp. I rather have a simpler SAK and a multitool.

I have so many faves.... the Rucksack, my red alox Farmer, my Camper, my Huntsman plus....the list goes on....

Favorite SAK? That would be like choosing which is my favorite child. Thanks goodness I don't have 17 children!LOL.tom.

Borrowed from some crappy 80s movie,
"That's not a Swiss Army Knife. This is a Swiss Army Knife"

As I recall, it cost around $20, and mine has never been used. As far as the Wenger vs. Victorinox issue, it's a Wenger.
