Favorite Tactical Fixed Blade.

For general utility/fighting, the 1960's Randall #1 8" (#2 handle) I had is hard to beat. For specifically unpleasant stuff, my 60's (4 digit) Gerber MK II is about as good as it gets.

Have really been enjoying and being enlightened by this thread.Thank ya'll and keep 'em comin'!  :D

ok i changed my mind.that minigun fighter by patton is my favourite.why?well, just look at it.awesome damascus and patton makes fighters.while we're on the subject SHIVA KI's samurai steel spirit blade is rite next to the patton why?have u seen what master KI's knives can do?and they're not bad looking either.faves that i own - bm offsider, trailmaster bowie cant decide between the 2

Busse hogfsh, satin jack tac, swamp rat battle rat, rat wieler, camp tramp, ranger knives rd7 and rd6. You can`t pick just one. Why? Because they`re quite possibly the best and toughest knives ever made. I felt that I left some out.

I really like my Benchmade 10520 Offsider....Also my Cold Steel stainless 6" Tanto, and my Camillus CUDA CQB-1...:).

LB, Thanks for the compliment on the SLCC, it's definitely one of my favorites.

But, if you do want to change the question to your favorite fighter, not neccessarily an easily carryable and concealable knife, then I can see larger bowie type knives in that role, and I guess my favorite full size fighter would be a Rob Patton fighter-bowie, with a mini-gun damascus blade, mini-gun steel guard and buttcap, F-18 carbon fiber handle, the blade is diff. tempered and amazingly sharp. Rob makes the best forged fighter out there IMO, they are large enough, but surprisingly light and fast, and the edge he puts on them is phenomenal.

That is hands-down the coolest fighter I've ever seen.

Emerson Commander - although the wave feature hasn't seemed to have caught on anywhere else.

err,so eki is making a fixed-blade,waved commander?:D

For sentimental reasons I need to add my Richmond Ek Model 5 to the list. It is very well balanced, and fast in hand, and must have been quite the prize in its day.

Hey Shun Chiang, that is an awesome pic, glad you like the knife!:D

I'm torn between 2 blades:
My trusty old Ka-Bar or my Fallkniven F1.
My ka-Bar has been with me through thick and thin.I like the toughness and the style.
My new F1 has been very impressive as my EDC.It's small, light and holds a great edge. For a new knife it feels comfortable to me.I don't know if you know what I mean or not.

When all is said and done I'll have to go with my old Ka-bar,simply based on the fact that I have more field/bush experience with it.

1. I'm new, I got excited :foot:

2. I changed my setting to large, old man, failing eyesight type setting so I can read everything on the page.

3. I'll try to redeem myself by mentioning that the Emerson Karambit has a wave on it to some's confusion
