I also have this kit from Griot's Garage, which has regular and tamper-proof bits. Works great, but I did manage to break the tip off the T6 bit (still enough left to be useable though), so that's how I got into Wiha.

I have had to replace quite a few T-6 bits--including a few Wiha's. The tiny little bit just doesn't last.
I have found that if you use the "power" bits, they will hold up much better.
Anybody ever tried the Journey Tool Company Knife maintenance kits? They are pricey, but people seem to like them.
I have had the same issue with the Chapman bits. From what I gather, they design them that way to prevent damaging screws. The Chapman bits deform to let you you know you're dealing with red LocTite.View attachment 1632647
They probably don’t make them that good anymore!Yeah, the Wiha power bits even look and feel like higher quality steel.
I also have a set of Stanley precision screwdrivers that have lasted more than 20 years I think. I can't remember when I bought them but I have had them for a long time and they are still in great shape - and I use them all the time.
