This has probably been done before, but it`s -25 degrees with the wind chill here today, and it`s too cold to go out. (I know, I`m an old sissy :o) My favorite is, and always has been, the Buck 110. I`ve never been without one since the mid 1970`s, and have a ton of them kicking around the house, shop, and in my vehicles. The top one in the picture is my favorite, BG-42,
nickle bolsters, oak handle, with my initials engraved on it. What`s yours?

i love my Case stockman with CV steel and bonestag handles. i'm very rarely without it.

sometimes i switch over to a trapper though... pics coming later

I guess none of mine are "traditional", but I carry a SAK Farmer at all times. I used to carry a Case Canoe all the time, but I'm looking at getting a Gunboat soon. Nothing like a good ol' pocketknife like my Grandpa used to carry.

I usually carry a spyderco native 3 or a SAK camper, but am interested in a buck 112.

Another vote for the Buck 110. Classic design. I haven't carried one in years, though.

Best,

- Mike

i have a few scrades that i carry sometimes, but i usually have my SAK camper with me...

SAK Farmer is my favorite "traditional" pocket knife. I have a Great Eastern Cutlery trapper pattern that is a nice knife, but I just don't quite like it as much. Been really eying a Case CV Stockman lately, I love the stockman pattern.

No shame about not going out today John, it's just dangerous here. We've got -30 windchill, 30-40 mph winds. The grader went by this morning and the road was drifted back shut in half an hour. A good day for reading :)

Any sort of scout pattern has great outdoor utility. I have an alox Wenger SI that I like alot.

if i was for some reason forced to carry a folder for a primary woods knife, instead of a fixed blade, it would be this GEC pioneer trapper:

gonna toss up a few more pics, just because ;)

my old EDC consisted of the opinel #7 and one of these small folders. then for a while i switched over to just carrying the small (modded) Case penknife

my old timey knives. i would say "my slipjoint knives", but the opinel isn't slipjoint...

Traditional?
Buck 110 and SAk Rucksack (although it varies in form from older SAKs).

It would have been my Boy Scout knife if I still had it.

I only have 2 Case knives left, my Folding Hunter and Moose. Both good knives.

I carry my Buck 110 and Victorinox Soldier every single day ;)
I would love to try a traditional carbon steel slipjoint - maybe a Traper ... :)

It would have to be my Schrade Walden 2-blade hunter. Both blades show a lot of "character" but it has never let me down.
