Favorite Underwear

I wear Tommy Hilfiger boxer type underwear. I almost said something else, but remembered which sub forum I am in first. That is a good thing!

Based on the good word put in for exofficio shorts, I just ordered a pair of their boxer briefs. First test of them was a 13 hour work day that involved 4 hours driving, lots of walking, stairs and crouching. they stayed quite comfy, breathed well, and felt great. I was wearing my 5.11 EMT pants, which do not breath at all, so I did notice the sweat build up when sitting in the car, which is normal for them, but a couple minutes after standing up, all dry and happy, unlike cotton which takes a bit longer.
for anyone looking at them, I'm about a 32 waist, so I got the medium size. my next pair will probably be small, as they are pretty generously cut. I like a little more support especially when moving and walking a lot. They were free-ballin comfy, which for lounging, or travel will be great. Thanks for the recommendation!

I live in Exofficio shorts and dig lululemon boxer briefs for working out... I have banned cotton from this aspect of my life :)

I'm a boxer briefs man myself , I work manual labor and wore regular boxers to work one time on my first day as a matter of fact, and will never repeat never ever do that again. If you are going to be moving around a lot they are hard to beat, IMO , no riding up no chafing, and everything stays where it needs to be.

Bought some Exofficio boxer briefs after reading this thread and I must say they are some nice drawers.
Ought to be for $18 bucks a pair.

Flint & Tinder.
Started with funding through Kickstarter, I got 3 pairs of boxer-briefs through that project and they're fantastic.
USA made, even down to the packaging.

This thread ended up being one of the most useful I've ever read on here!! I have big thighs, and chaffing has plagued me since I was a wee lad. I just put in an order for 3 pairs of Duluth Trading's Buck Naked underwear. Little more than I would like to spend on underwear, so I hope they're worth it!!

I actually picked up some of the Under Armour charged cotton boxers as well. I think I like this as much as the ExOfficios! Little cheaper too.

I hate to admit it, but I was gifted some Abercrombie and Fitch boxer briefs a while back.... Most comfortable undies I have ever worn. I have big thighs from lifting weights for years, so boxers are sometimes a pain depending on the material. The abercrombies just feel great overall.

ExOfficio Men's Give-N-Go Boxer Brief. Best underwear ever made.

I wore tighty-whiteys as a child and switched to cotton knit boxers as an adult. But when I started my new job a few years ago, where I was sitting a lot and under a lot of stress, I noticed that they kept creeping up uncomfortably and would get hot and clammy. Very uncomfortable. ExOfficio Give-N-Go briefs have literally changed my life. Whoever invented them deserves a Nobel Prize. Not exaggerating.

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer Briefs are the best I have tried, which is many. They are expensive, but they last a long time. I've got a pair that I am guessing are about 8 years old that are going strong and by strong I don't mean smell. I was wearing both the ExO's and Under Armour's (no, not at the same time) for awhile until I came to the conclusion that the ExO's were cheaper in the long run as well as more breathable and comfortable. I really wanted to to like wool boxer briefs, because I love wool t-shirts, but after trying a couple of pairs from different makers I decided to stick with the ExO's.

I have the exact opposite problem. I have linebacker thighs and boxer briefs do everything to me that they fix for you. They ride up, bunch you name it.

Guys, based on your recommendations, I ended up buying two pairs of Ex-Officio Boxer Briefs, and three pairs of Duluth Trading Company Buck Naked Boxer Briefs. I wanted to wear them awhile before I reviewed them.

I'd say they are both about equally comfortable. Both seemed to ride their way up into my butt crack a lot less than the other underwear I've owned. I also tried washing a pair in the sink as if I were on a long third world country vacation. They cleaned up well and dried fairly quickly, a plus. Both didn't seem to become saturated with sweat as I worked out, which was also good. Comfort was good enough that these are the kind of underwear I plan on buying in the future. Good balance between comfort and support.

Bad points: really just price. By far, the most expensive underwear I've ever bought. Exofficios were about $33 each, NOT including tax and shipping. Duluth was even worse at 33.50 not including tax and shipping. Exofficios were packed in a nice reuseable plastic bag with a snap closure. Buck Nakeds came in a cheapo don't suffocate the baby plastic bag. So, for the better packaging and the fact that it's a whopping 50 cents cheaper, I'm going to go with the Officios. That is, if this underwear lasts a good, long time.

I can't believe I paid over $175 for 5 pairs of underwear, though.

I'm glad you're happy with your underwear but you could have saved a bunch of money if you'd bought the ExOfficios at Campmor at under $18 per pair. I believe I did mention the store in my previous post, if not sorry.

I can't speak on that since I've never had any issues with the several purchases I've made with them.

That's a good sign. I was actually making a joke, but I guess it was bad one lol. My thought process was no one returns worn underwear, but I guess some people would consider that.

I'm eagerly awaiting to hear the review, because I ordered 3 pairs from Duluth a month or two ago and want to try the Exofficios
