Favourite knife designer?

CRK
Rockstead
Jason Guthrie
Marcin Slysz
Shirogorov
Peter Rasenti
Scott Cook
Gayle Bradley
Daniel Pica (Screech Owl Knives)

To name a few! I'm definitely leaving some out. So many great knife makers/designers.

Hinderer
A. G. Russell (So many practical designs from traditional to modern)
DD Ralph
RJ Martin
T. Marfione (no hating on me. His original OTF knives are beautiful!)
Ed Fowler (if only I could afford one of his knives)
Bob Loveless (designs copied by so many)
Ken Onion (genius)
Tom Mayo

Don't know them all, but will go with Busse; Reeve; Hinderer, and Grayman.

What about Russ Farrell 😁😁😁
He designed a lot of the frost cutlery crap, basically all of which being ridiculous fantasy stuff.
Probably every mall ninja of the past 25+yrs has had a knife of his design.

I have always liked the designs I see coming from:
BIg Chris, GL Drew,ML knives, JK knives, and WA Surles.

Daniel Pica (Screech Owl Knives)

To name a few! I'm definitely leaving some out. So many great knife makers/designers.

I'll have to second that. Stepping into Daniel Pica's booth at a local festival a year ago rekindled my interest in custom knives. There was this one knife in his booth that felt like it was made just to fit my hand...

In no particular order, these guys are some of the few who pretty consistently make stuff that I give a hearty nod of approval to.

James Terrio
Andy Roy
Dylan Fletcher
Bill Siegle
Ray Laconico
Rick Marchand

I have man crush on Les George nad his knives since last month. Very nice, very simple, clean designs for real use.

Did I miss something?
Are we on post 78 and NOBODY has mentioned Ethan Becker?

Am I in some crazy parallel universe?

Never mind. I did a search and realized that Bill had mentioned Ethan Becker in post #22, but still, I'm only the second guy in 78 posts to mention Mr. Becker?

I think Becker, and Jeff Randall/Mike Perin are probably my all time favorites for fixed blades, and the Glessers are my favorites for folders.

I feel like if I were limited to only owning knives designed by Becker and the Glessers, I could do everything from open mail, to prepping a salad, to rebuilding some post-apocalyptic civilization.
