I love the blade of the 212, but that chunky handle just didn't carry well for me.
I don't know if I'm the only one to feel this way, but even if that isn't the reason I think an 812 would be popular.

I’m curious as I’ve never seen the 212 in person. Is the handle different than a 105? In pictures they look the same.

I believe it's the same.
For me that made the knife carry like a migh larger knife.

It sounded sorta familiar. I remember the show, but I hardly ever watched it. Didn't have much time for tv at that point in my life.
