Fear the Walking DEad? *possible spoilers* read at own risk

Maybe something will come in through that hole she cut in the fence.

I hope so. Also in the previews they show someone at the medical center "Come back". So I think (hope) the reality really sets in...they need to give us enough reason to watch next season

Anyone think it is a bit strange that Atlanta has thousands of Walkers but LA seems to be void of them. Can't be because of the Military as it seemed like they were over ran very quickly outside the CDC.

Your right, there should be tons breaking down that fence they have set up...I hope next week

I was thinking about the same thing regarding military presence. Like you guys stated the east coasts military presence was over ran from what we've seen.
Just from Californias population alone. I would think there would be WAY more walkers in Cali.
Anxious to see why/how the west/east coast storylines are so different. Granted it was only day 9.

So I see I wasn't the only one yelling at the TV last night... ;) You've got harsh language. You see a pistol, you take it! :D

We're thinking they're experimenting on the people they send to "the hospital" trying to find a cure.
I did like the part where the dad got to see them kill whoever was in the house signaling. Maybe now he'll get it together...

I really liked how the house on the hill bracketed this episode. First scene you see the signal mirror flashes, last scene you see the muzzle flashes. Seriously, way to snitch on those people, Travis. Too bad he's going to be terrible at playing his change of loyalty close to the vest.

Also, way to snitch on everyone who's sick, Liza. WTF?

At least Daniel knows what's up.

Huh, I didn't think of the muzzle flashes in the same way as both of you. I was thinking that there's someone holed up in there with a bunch of ammo holding out on his own...shooting walkers or soldiers. I was thinking this is someone they are going to hook up with at some point because he might be the person with survival skill they are sorely missing. Maybe I saw it that way because I'm looking for something that the show needs.

The story is from the time Rick was in the wreck, and in a coma, until the time he woke up. Several weeks. There is plenty of time for the Zombies to make a comeback.

You have to remember that there are pockets of people holding out even in the South. Even in "The Walking Dead". That's kinda part of the plot isn't it? Trying to find somewhere safe.

The infection has not spread to everyone yet. It will. I get the idea that there may be some immune though. Doesn't really matter cause if you are immune and you die then you are just dead.....I would think that part of the plot could be develop a vaccine from one of the immune.

So, yea. L.A will be overrun by thousands of Walkers. It just take a little time!

It's gonna turn out like the Walking Dead. Man's inhumanity to man and all.

You'd be surprised. Once you move inland away from the coast, we are pretty much everywhere.

But you guys still have your gun "fun factor" limited. No shorties, suppressors, mags over 10 rounds, happy switches, etc. Not saying they don't exist in CA, just saying they're not going to be as common as some other places

Meh. In a zombie apocalypse where head shots are mandatory I'm leaving the AR in the safe and grabbing the .22 anyways. Lol!

Yup..... Agree!!!!!!

Actually, in TWD there aren't any "immune" people. Remember back at the CDC the doc whispered to Rick before the place blew up that they were ALL infected. So when they die, for ANY reason, they will turn. So even though some people may not have the "disease" yet, they are all going to get it. Some just won't become "walkers" until after they die/get killed some way.

I just re watched this weeks episode, the more I see them the more I want all the characters dead with the exception of the Barber.

I am hoping that the FTWD crew finally gets a chance to pack it up and head Eastward this week. Then they can conveniently be put out of their misery by TWD crew during their season opener in October.

True.

There still could be people that are immune to the airborne virus that everyone has. Jenner also said that a lot of the people at the CDC left when everything went to hell so I can't imagine he had a giant pool of folks to test. Also, how many living people have we encountered in The Walking Dead? 200 or so all together? Let's say we've come across 1000 living since Rick woke up. If 1 in 1,000 are immune that would be 0.001% of the population we've seen. If there are those that are immune, I'd wager that the ratio would be even less so. Something like 1 in 100,000 or 1 in 1,000,000. (no science involved here just a fan's uninformed estimation)

So I'd say it "could" happen. Will they or wont they, I don't really care as long as The Walking Dead stays just as good or better and Fear gets a little bit more exciting.

1/1,000 would be 0.1%, but otherwise I agree. There could be a very small number of people that would die without coming back as walkers (there are genotypes out there that convey immunity to all kinds of things).

Oops, double checked with a calculator and forgot to move the decimal. Cant even edit my own stupidity now. ;):D

He was a 1st Lt Clampdaddy, I was struck that the leader of the military presence was low ranking and that just stood out screaming that this was going to go badly. At least to me, having very little faith in the leadership and common sense of Lt's in general.

Is it just me or is the story dragging along very slowly. I'm also ready to prune the family tree of pretty much everyone in the show with the exception of the barber. The blond chick is a complete idiot as far as I can see and the drug addict son just needs to die already. Along with pretty much everyone else.

That a 1st LT runs the show wold be an indicator to some of how bad it really is.
