Fear the Walking DEad? *possible spoilers* read at own risk

Well the guy locked up with Nick was interesting and could be a really cool character to follow and the Mom has awoke. When she finds out what the barber has does and only asks "did we get the information" was a good scene. She is good to go and I think the kids are as well, plus Liza didn't really hesitate getting rid of the barbers wife. The whole idea that the people are no longer themselves is not lost on her.

Wish he would have pulled the trigger on that 50 with his eye resting on the scope. That would have been hilarious.

Garth

Right!?! Holy smokes, when i saw him put his eye right up to the scope I was yelling at the screen NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! Then I see the CO do the same thing Lol. I know I know, it's only a show but I think that part got me barking at the screen more than the zombies did haha.

BOOOOOOOORING.
Barber's stupid plan to trade soldier for captive mom redeemed somewhat by the fact that he never really planned a trade, just to get information.
Also suave black guy in jail getting rid of useless guy from his cell, but saving the junkie, so he would have someone useful when he broke out.
otherwise a big snooze. And where the heck are the zombies??
Z Nation is better than this!

OK sorry, back on topic. The barber is my newest hero, it's like Dexter and TWD collided. The sexy daughter Ofelia needs to harden up like daddy and maddie needs to share her balls with Mr scope eye.

The captive bolt pistol was cool.

To be honest, when I saw that huge arena full of walkers, I had this picture in my head of Rick being there and saying in his usual fashion "we can take it" .

Mr salesman in detainment seems cool and very wise to what's about to happen. I think he may make it. I hope the junkie is in there long enough to kick... I have no more patience for him

I can't believe that this show is made by the same people that made TWD. Can't really "Fear" the walking dead when they don't show any. The barber is the only character that is keeping this show alive.

So far it's not to bad for me. I missed the first 3 seasons of TWD due to the fact it just sucked. I mean, all there really was was the Rick, Shane, Lauri crap with the Maggi, Glen, Governor Andria crap. It was really more like a "Days of our lives" with zombies. Then there is Daryl. Never understood why woman want him and men want to be him. He gets his ass beat allot. Other then the cool knife and crossbow there ain't much to him. So I'm giving this one a chance. First two episodes were slow, but characters were developed well. I liked the old man allot. The minute we met him you just knew something was up. Then there is this black dude hooked with the junky. This looks like the set up for a pretty good story to me. Possibly some good conflict In a potential group weathering the apocalypse together. All the technical crap means little to me. Sure we know better then to touch any rifle mounted scope to our eye if we plan on shooting, but that was not the point so I can let it pass. I'm thinking this one may be good.

I thought it was ok. Lots of stuff I could pick at but I'm just taking it in stride. Z-Nation has filled most of the TWD void I had. Just wrapped up season 1 and season 2 has three episodes on demand...so I'm good til 10-11-15. And yea breavis...gotta love Addy and her bat....very appealing to me. I have a tiny crush on Roberta though. And Murphy reminds me of Dr House with his attitude. ...trips me out.

I stopped watching Z Nation on Episode 3. Went from good to totally syfy.

I went into that one expecting it to be goofy. The first season was ok until they killed off their "Rick". The episode that replayed the same scene over and over again was so bad it soured me on the show but since FTWD has been so slow I started watching it again.

Yea....you have to expect scy fy stuff on scy fy......but overall it's a decent show. Now that Casandra is a hybrid zombie and protects the group...she is awesome!

I didn't watch Z Nation when it first came out. Missed the entire first season. But then right before the 2nd season began they showed all of season one, so I recorded it. Just finished watching all of season one and all but the last episode of season two. My wife and I both thinks Murphy reminds us of House, and Doc reminds me of "The Hippy Dippy Weatherman", George Carlin. I didn't care for the episode that kept repeating over and over and over, but generally I like the series. Better that "Fear", so far at least, in my opinion. Can't wait for the "real" Walking Dead to return on 11 October! "Fear" has been really disappointing so far. Way too slow in developing, in my opinion.:(

I think the guy in the cell with the druggie has a chance of turning into an interesting character. Time will tell I suppose.

Garth

Guys, both shows are terrible and excruciatingly boring. I watch only out of compulsion now since I have been watching for so long.

Can't wait to get back to looking at hot Latina Rosita on TWD, Ophelia is not as pretty, I like her nose though. I've got a thing for Penelope Cruz and long necked bird noses

I did the same thing. I tried watching it and it was just too corny.

Corny was the word that I was looking for.... Couldn't stand to watch more than 3 episodes too....I don't mind that FTWD is very different or slow. Gives time for the characters to develop. These shows aren't just about gore and zombies.... That's why they get such a wide variety of viewers.

I think so to, and I don't think it will bode well for junky boy either. The guy seemed to know people and how to find and push buttons to manipulate them into positions he needs them in. Junky boy will likely end up as a type of Renfield type character who jumps and twirls for some smack. He and the old man are really cut from the same cloth I'm my opinion.

So far I'm not that impressed by the show, last weeks episode sucked, but this weeks episode was better. It's slow and uninteresting - and not enough zombies.

Z Nation was a fun show, the first season had some good mindless zombie smashing action and some fun characters (Doc and Murphy). Season 2 on the other hand does not deliver. Might stop watching.
