I believe you are totally correct Lexi....both of those attributes get you killed by humans faster than zombies. Like Rick did when they first took over the prison with that latino dude....machete to tha head!
I think the producers have plans for the smooth-talkin guy in the cage w/ the junkie--it was something he said, something like the cafe-latte drinkers had their time, now things are... going back to the way they were... or something like that. I can see him emerging like a Gov.-type villain, or worse, judging by the way he tore down that other guy (sobbing neighbor) by cutting into his feelings of abandonment, humiliation, and possible betrayal (wife). The smooth-talker seems as if he represents a world without rules and morality, where survival and power is how you measure every choice and every person.
Or maybe I am giving the producers too much credit... not sure yet. But things are ready to jump off in HelLA... I hope they let the walkers loose and turn this into something like Season 1/ Episode 2 of TWD.

I don't think the guy in the cell will last very long, he seems like he is good at two things so far. 1.) Smooth talking 2.) Bribery. That won't get a man very far in a world full of zombies.
Agreed but i cant help but wonder why he is in the cell in the first place. Aren't all the people they take at risk of becoming a walker for one reason or another?Smooth talking and bribery are just some of the tools that hes shown.
He can read people and knows how to play them. He has clearly assessed the situation and has a plan. He also knows how to use any assets at hand.
I think he will do just fine. The question is, is he friend or foe ?
From what I made of that was the place they held anyone that may have been exposed or a danger of showing signs of being sick. Isolation then if they get sick downstairs to the fenced off rooms like the barbers wife was in.Agreed but i cant help but wonder why he is in the cell in the first place. would not mind it being like use the slow dope sick junkie as bait to slow down the walkers.I just hope his escape plan involves Nick not making it out.
Garth
Why all the hate for Nick? I'm sure its not easy to kick heroin and at least he's trying right? What I want to know is why is he still wearing the senior citizen clothes??
As far as the females go...very disappointing. I mean, Ophelia, really? She's a 7 at best. Even on the regular Walking Dead I've always thought the options were pretty poor. Maggie probably ranking the highest and I don't even know if I can give her an 8. Someone needs to have a serious talk with whoever is in charge with casting for these shows.

Most all the ladies on both shows are pretty in their own way. I'd be happy with just about any of them. Rosita definitely takes the cake in my book. She's smokin hot!
On Fear, i think the junkie's sister is the hottest.
Lets see, I'm in a post apocalypse situation - who do I want with me? a) Vacuous dumb beautiful Miss America type who has perfect hair, perfect nails, perfect figure, perfect face (with makeup on) or b) Well above average looking young woman who looks good without tons of makeup and hairspray who has a lot of common sense, is smart, is able to take care of herself, and is able to adapt to changing and difficult conditions? Don't know about you johnnyt16, but I'm taking choice "b"! And for women without a ton of beauty makeup, the ones on TWD and FTWD are overall "10"s in my opinion! Beauty goes deeper than the skin. Maggie and Beth rule!(It really ticked me off when the producer/writers killed Beth).
