February 2023 Buck Of The Month BOTM Solid Copper Handled 112 Ranger blk ckote drop point s30v #/500

Count me as one that did not receive an email notification. Its ok as I wouldn't have bought one of these, nice as they are. Congrats to those who wanted one and got one.
Buying them from scalpers for those ridiculous markups only encourages future behavior.

Got mine today as well. I’m going to carry it for a few days - very nicely put together, perfect centering, overall I’m really happy with it.

Got mine as well. Wish I had gotten a G10 TRX to try and carry. I also ordered a plain Budgie and was kinda surprised it came in the nicer Pro box. Thought it would have came in the standard yellow box

Now didn't the Sptifire come coated so the copper wouldn't start to patina til you wanted it to? I didn't feel any such thing on the 112

No... the Spitfire will patina... I assume this 112 will too. I actually really like patina on copper. I just wish it was easier to control. You can clean the coppers with a mixture of salt and lemon juice and it will remain Like New without damaging the copper... hard to get the job 100% without taking the knife apart.

I know it will patina, but I vaguely remember the Spitfire came covered in a pile or wax so it wouldn't til you cleaned and used it. Wonder why buck didn't do it with the 112
