Bad FedEx Ground (terrible)

Yep. Fed Ex has still not delivered a pair of shoes my wife ordered Feb. 28, Wisconsin to Louisiana. Seller sent another pair after 20 working days that got here by Fed Ex in 5 days. Same person and address. Go figure.

Actually yes I believe that is true unfortunately. He was the route driver and had been watching the little girl for some time before he abducted her.
That is not accurate at all. The driver hit the little girl in the driveway while making a delivery and freaked out. No stalking. He messed up and then messed up worse. He deserves the death penalty, but it was not premeditated.

Thanks for the correction…the last I saw it was an abduction and he was their Xmas delivery driver.

I had similar issues. Ordered a Leatherman tool and the dealer used FEDEX for delivery. Tool showed as delivered but we never got a package. I did get a live person at FEDEX who said it is odd that the delivery method the package was on would not have been a residential delivery truck and not even near our route. She suspected the driver, seeing it was incorrect simply scanned the item as delivered and either tossed it or took it. She also said there was nothing they could do o_O. She suggested contacting the seller as they often have private insurance to cover such losses (even though it was a FEDEX issue). I did contact them and the graciously made it right even though it was not their fault.

I have also had several pricey, signature required packages just left on my doorstep in the last month or two by FEDEX

Fed ex likes to leave my stuff outside my gate close to the sidewalk. Everyone else pitches it over the fence where passersby can’t reach. Smh.

Update: I received my replacement knife today. It came Fedex Express 2-day w/signature.
GP Knives for the win! Thanks folks

That was HIS story. We will never know what really happened.

That's what happened. Look it up and check the reports. Stop acting like you know something that you don't. Because you don't and you know you don't.

Yeah? Well read the damn news articles on it. Notice the parts where it says “told” and “told investigators”? That’s the DRIVER telling HIS story.

TEXAS (AP) — The FedEx driver accused of abducting and killing a 7-year-old girl last week in Texas told authorities that he strangled her after accidentally hitting her with his van while making a delivery at her home, according to an arrest warrant obtained Thursday.

Tanner Lynn Horner, 31, told investigators that Athena Strand wasn’t seriously hurt after he hit her while backing up, but he panicked and put her in his van. He said she was talking to him and told him her name, according TO the warrant.

They reviewed video from the van and authorities say it was a “crime of opportunity”. The guy also had several sexual assault charges on his record.

So my point is, criminals lie. Not that his lie makes a bit of difference, but going around telling people he did it because he “accidentally hit her with the delivery van” only serves to validate HIS story, not the truth. I don’t think he killed her because he hit her with the van. I think if he had something far more sinister in mind. He took her in his van, she was completely unharmed, he talked to her and then he left with her.. and killed her an hour or so later. I think we know exactly why he did what he did and “being afraid her father would be mad” might sound like a good BS excuse to him but not to anyone else.

Now can we move on?

FedEx is a joke, I’m still waiting for a distributor assembly for an HVAC unit for a server room that was supposed to be overnighted last Thursday.

Fedex is too hit and miss for me...

I've shipped something to NJ from CT and had it arrive next day. I ordered pants from UNIQLO coming out of NJ and had it arrive 1 month later, it went:
NJ->NY->MA->CT->MA->CT literally to every surrounding state.

I also ordered from SMKW one time (200$+ order) and they shipped it cheapo FedEx. It was lost in transit for a long time, and arrived 2 months on the dot...

I ordered an Oru Kayak (1300$) and sat at home for the delivery window which came and went (2-8pm). Get a text alert at 9pm "out for delivery" -> "delivery exception" saying no one was present to sign for the package. Next day, exact same thing happened, I get pissed and yell at the customer service lady, the package arrived at my door the next day. I get out just in time to see the delivery guy leave, "hey don't you need my signature?" "Umm, no I don't have a good day." WTF.

Funny enough, one of our work server UPS battery died so we had to next day order one for work. Exact same thing happened, it changes from "out for delivery" -> "delivery exception" stating no one was there to receive package. Because of this, I had to cannibalize another UPS battery to keep the more important server online.

I googled a bit and found many redditers complaining the exact same thing. Apparently local fedex offices will do this to fill quotas and have it not look like their fault or something...hopefully thats not the case but who the feck knows.

TLDR/Bottom line, FedEx will never voluntarily get my business. Thanks for reading my rant!

No. You are just making up nonsense. You have no idea what you are talking about nor any personal knowledge of the events, the child or the driver. His story is correct. You keep saying you think this or that - right? Fact is you have no clue. You posted links to stories that even contradict your opinion. The guy didn't have any sexual assault convictions and had a clean background check. There was no premeditation. There was no crime of opportunity. You think you think. You don't know squat. So stop Acting like you do. Its so sad what happened, and I hope the guy gets what is coming to him. we don't need someone like you flapping your fat mouth with made up garbage opinions.

GPK! 👍
I personally, would never use FedEx to ship anything.

^^ Thank you, GK!
You should read this delusional clowns (BF's Columbo) theory on the U Of I murder's in Moscow, Idaho in the Current Events sub-forum. He had that case all figured out too. < Just a sad pathetic miserable human being, with no life.....

Watch this video, it should help give you a little clearer perspective, as to why, this want to be "BE ALL YOU CAN BE" soldier, wasn't, and.......then when you stop taking your Meds......

Just watch the video (295.90)

A Beautiful Mind Clinical Psychology Analysis:

The horror that this precious little girl suffered, and the lifetime of Hell/suffering her family has to live with every single second, of every single day....is beyond heartbreaking.

Fedex Ground Economy is terrible. My item ordered through EBay shipped 14 days ago. Using the tracking number tells me only that the package is in a Fedex warehouse in Chicago. Calling (800) 463-3339 there is no way to reach a human.

I hate FedEx with a passion. If I have a choice I'll switch or I'll pass.
Sometimes you don't have a clue until after the fact.
