Feedback Stats (formerly iTrader)

I think I've left feedback for most of my transactions. I see it as a common courtesy. But I think if you really want it so badly you should request it via PM when sending the knife. I've had one seller request feedback and I gladly obliged, I think if I had a neutral (smooth but not particularly friendly) transaction I would just wait and see if they wanted feedback.

That being said, I don't like how the new forum makes you copy+paste the sales URL, when the old forum auto-filled it when you clicked Rate Seller. I do alot of my browsing on mobile and it's a pain to search my posts for the sales thread and then copy+paste. A minor grievance in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I'd provide feedback while we were in the subject.

The mew system doeant tell you received feedback like the old one. So sendimg a meessage letting them know you left feedback would be helpful. Just a thought. I know i dont check my feedback all that often

I wrote a little on the topic of feedback in another similar thread a few months ago.

To summarize what I said:

I like to leave feedback for all my sales and purchases. I do not have nearly as many as some folks but I view it as a courteous gesture to sum up a good transaction.

I always let the person know I have left feedback. Do I demand they do the same? Of course not; I mention it b/c sometimes you may not notice right away. If they reciprocate--great--if not then no big deal. To me, how the individual conducts him/herself during the process is much more important than a feedback rating.

I always communicate with people and keep them informed at every step in the buying/selling process including feedback.

If the person does not or will not leave feedback, that's okay. Some people are very private and/or discreet. If the transaction was conducted with integrity and honesty, that's all that really matters.

It will if you tell it to.

1. Hold the cursor over you username in the top right corner of any page.
2. Click on "Trading Preferences" and select the desired setting(s).
3. Click the "Save" tab at the bottom.

You're welcome.

It's a coincidence that I just discovered it today myself and updated my settings. I don't even know for sure if it works yet but I hope to find out very soon. I'm awaiting feedback from a buyer who received their knife from me today according to the tracking.

If the buyer leaves feedback then I'll know if it works or not. I assume it will but I can't be certain at this point.

It didn't work.

I got positive feedback 45 minutes ago but I got no Alert. I checked my settings and they are set to notify me by Alert for Positive, Neutral, and Negative feedback. No Alert received. I had to check it manually by looking at my Trading Stats in my profile. Nothing listed on my Alert page either.

I guess I should probably post this in Tech Support.

My several requests to sellers for a reciprocal rating all went unanswered. And I was being nice, not snarky :).

Railsplitter, do let us know what you find out.

Same here BD and I find it a bit annoying.
I haven't sold anything on the Exchange, but bought close to 50 knives.
When the knife arrives and I've checked it out, I leave feedback. I'll then send a PM to the seller and let them know all is well and feedback has been left.
More than a few sellers have never acknowledged the message.
Shrugs

I will ALWAYS leave feedback as a buyer or as a seller. I just feel that it's common courtesy to do so for a transaction that was positive. I will politely ask buyer or seller to leave me some return feedback as I have left some for them. I've had about 10 or so members not leave feedback at all, but like others, I don't sweat it too much anymore...

As a buyer, I spent half an hour trying to leave positive feedback for a very satisfactory purchase. I kept getting cryptic error messages stating that I didn't do things (namely hit "buyer" and "positive") which were the first thing I did each time. The old software was a pleasure to use for feedback; the new software is a nightmare. Yes, Posted twice in the sales thread and yes, I pasted the url into the proper box.
