Wow. I love this bluish one to the right, the way the spalting blends with the burl...
The reddish one to the left is rich.
Nice collection!

So much goodness going on there Phillip. I already knew of your epic BC collection. I didn't realize the scope of your blue palm and bolstered knife collection. Very impressive to say the least!

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Phil

Amazing Phillip. I agree, that dyed palm set is impressive and beautifully captured. We're here for you if you need someone to talk to about that BC addicti..collection

Excellent photos.

Drool... I have not seen the blue dyed palm yet... Great, now I HAVE to have one of those!

...kidding. Very nice collection. (still gotta get the palm though)

Wow. Some of you guys need help... I am willing to help you. Anyone with more than 20 knives, send me the rest. It will help you. I promise!

All kidding aside, there are some amazing collections in this thread. I have really enjoyed looking at all the knives you have chosen to collect.

Thanks for sharing your photos with me and the rest of the community.

When I get more than three, I promise to add a photo of my meager collection to this thread.

Here's my collection of natural canvas w/o liners or pinstripes
1075 and 2x S35vn

It's a simple collection that I am excited to see grow and change over the years. I've already bought and sold a few, one I regret letting go of, but another popped up in it's place. I used a "vibrant" filter setting to really bring out the colors of the handles, liners, and spalting. I feel like this enhancement really brings out what Fiddlebacks are like for use; rich, warm, varied, unique. Glad I can share with you all.

L to R: Hiking buddy, 2 Monarchs, Arete, Bushfinger, Osprey Apache Hunter.

Fantastic collection. Beautiful photos, the vibrant setting really makes them pop. The variation in some of the burls shows so much character - just gorgeous.

Tech-1,

You have assembled a very nice collection there. The Hiking Buddy, Monarch, and Arête are some of my favorite models. Your specific knives have very beautiful fancy burls.

If I may offer some constructive criticism, I suggest that you avoid preset photo effect editing choices and do it manually. I adjust brightness, contrast, color saturation, etc. on a photo by photo basis as necessary to make the photo look as close to the natural color of the knives as possible. I regularly study the photos of Mistwalker and Thurin to learn from their composition and editing techniques. I have a long way to go to get to their level of quality and clarity.

Thanks for posting your collection. You have done very well.

Thanks Phil. I appreciate your thoughts on the camera settings and will certainly continue learning manual adjustments for better photos. Very well stated.
