Do you have a favorite regarding the blade shape between the recluse/leuku and the Kephart/bear paw?

I'm curious about this as well. I'm kind of under the assumption that the Bear Paw is basically a large Kephart and the Bear Cub is a small one. Is that at all correct?

I'm also curious if there is something that would be considered a small Terrasaur.

Thanks

Bear Paw > Kephart > Bear Cub are a family

Leuku > Recluse > Patch are a family (I don't have a Leuku yet)

As far as I know, there are no Terrasaur variations.

Thanks so much Thurin. This is super helpful info. So basically, and please correct me if I am wrong, there are 5 family lines of Fiddlebacks. The Bushfingers, The Kepharts, The Bushcrafters, The Nessmuks and The Leukus. Is that somewhat accurate? Sounds like a great dinner party to boot.

Also, are there any other related Fiddlebacks that I'm missing?

My apologies if there is already a thread covering this info. I haven't been able to find one though.

Thanks again

I have not spent as much time using them as I would like, but at this point I would give the edge to the Kephart / Bear Paw. However, I both designs and all 4 of the knives a lot. If I was forced to only use the Recluse / Leuku, I would not be sad. The Leuku is one awesome knife, and I love the way the handle fits my hand.

Big Sneaky, Sneaky Pete, Asp, Scorpion all fall into one group. They're different degrees of the same profile.
The Hiking Buddy, KE Bushie, and Arete all kinda fit into a similar design (spear points) but different sizes
Bow Legged Joe, 3 Finger Joe, and Bow Legged Chopper are all the same .. differently sized

Thanks guys. This was super helpful. One of the great things about this community. Glad I had some of it correct. Forgot about a few like the Kardas and I've only seen the Scorpion on the web page. Also, I kinda wish there was a smaller Tarrasaur. :D

There is a new model coming soon ....in my mind right now
Lol
Is similar

I'm glad to hear it's even a thought. I've only had the Terrasaur for a week now but the handle and blade profile on that knife are just awesome. I'd definitely like to see it in a more EDC type size. Like a Terranubcub Jr. with a way better name. :D

And the Gaucho and Padre. Also Bushboot and F2. My there are a lot of models.
