Any type of wood can be stabilized. They will be noted as 'stabilized' in their description.

Stenbäck: Grab what you want and don't worry, It¨ll work. There are som many opinions on which material is the best/worst.
Myself Ive got wood (Not in THAT manner:p) as well as stabilized wood and phenolics, they all work. Wether they are "Warmer/colder/grippier/absorbing" etc is mostly in your own head:)
These knives will perform anyhow just don't go diving with them and please clean them after use.
I have an osage Bushcrafter that has cleaned fish and removed the head on an elk after I was stupid enough to leave the head, top spine and hide in a plastic bag for 4 weeks.
The smell and mess cannot be described. There is no residue in the handle after that

Sten, I have a bush finger with maroon micarta handles that I would be willing to sell you if you pay for the shipping. It's 5/32, used in kitchen a couple times. Had light patina. PM me if interested. $300.uploadfromtaptalk1399237873227.jpg

Man,
If I hadn't recently moved to a no dupes policy , that hunter would be put straight to work!

Don't sleep on the orange burst hunter -- sick color combo and 5/32" TT to boot!

Every time i post this i think about hoe awesome it is, and that I don't want to sell it. It just doesn't "fit" my "collection" though and i have to reroof the house.

Thanks emoney, but I´ll keep searching for the right Hunter or Bushcrafter for my first buy.

That orange glow one is nothing like what I originally had in mind, but wow it is beautiful. :)

Well...I'm starting a new adventure and have blown through my start-up budget. So, here's my maroon canvas micarta BushFinger with Trinity pinout for sale.

First "I'll take it" and follow up PM gets it. Payment via PayPal and shipped to confirmed CONUS address. Buyer must be 18 years of age and is responsible for compliance with any state or local knife laws.

This is in "lightly" used, never abused condition. There are some small scratches on the blade, but nothing major. I've opened boxes and cut some vines with it. It's always either been on my hip or in my bag.

$275 with Jou'Fuu dangler -- $250 sans Bonafide goodness (Please note that the sheath has my initials engraved on the back, I'm sure this could be hot-stamped out somehow)

Here is the original Fiddleback Friday picture w/ description

MONDAY NIGHT DOUBLE SHOT!!

Yep, a Monday night double shot of Fiddlebacks.

Hunter (NEW): Gorgeous Shadetree Cofeebag Burlap over black g10 liners with a lime green g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 5/32” thick O1 steel. Got this in a trade, so I don't know the birthdate. Really great looking knife. Comes with black dangler sheath.

Recluse (USER): Orange Electric Burlap over black g10 liners with a white g10 pinstripe, 5/32" O1 steel. This was also a trade knife and is a user. Previously owned by our own solid4Ever, so well cared for - waterjet work on the blade of the knife to make it look more like a Kephart. Extremely sharp! This knife comes with custom tan sheath.

$OLD - thanks to the Sharks...nice swimming with you...
