I'll take the bush finger
Wow, I can't believe that HB is still there lol!
Probably some jack wagon
Yeah, the guy is upset, but bottom line I still haven't received an email from him and he insists he sent 2. I'm glad I didn't wait. He's a registered user, I suggested he upgraded to Gold to be able to PM.
I guess its a "welcome to the shark tank" moment.
Sorry emoney I been off of bf for a bit. I didn't realize that this Bushfinger purchase caused such a stink. If you want to sell it to the other guy that's fine with me. Not like I don't have a few Bushfingers already! Let me know if you want to unwind the sale.
Let's try something a little different. I have $330.00 for whomever sends me the sickest KEB, Recluse, or Bushboot. I'll choose by 2200 EST tonight. I don't know of any of these models that cost this much new so everyone should make some money. I will definitely buy a knife tonight by 10PM, maybe it will be yours.
PM me your photos and specs!
This was one f two I got last week. They are both super light and awesome. I really like the antique ivory linen, so I decided not to be greedy and keep both.
I'll take the hb! Pm me your PayPal info
Sold to lorsbach! Thank you.
I may have created a stink and need some input. I listed this on the exchange also. Someone called at 1442 and said they were going to PM but never did. Lorsbach called it AND PMed and promptly paid. The other guy left another message on the thread stating how excited he was and things and that he sent me a PM, which I still haven't received. I feel bad for not holding the knife but I have 2 thoughts:
I am not a merchant, money talks
If you have time to write me another message on the thread you have time to send me a PM and pay.
I pay immediately and if I can't I communicate that upfront.
Should I feel bad or is this the law of the sharks?

I probably would have posted in the Exchange thread (before I sold it to another person) "I have not received a PM or email from you..." This site gets messed up from time to time and PMs and emails don't always go through (speaking from experience). You're right, money talks, but what if it were you, and you know you sent me two PMs and posted "I'll take it" in the thread, and still I sold the knife to someone else. It might change the way you feel about Ol' Duder. Might lead to bad feedback or losing a future customer. Try to work it out in the sales thread if all other communication is failing. But, this is just my humble $.02. Didn't mean to re-open a wound.

I think it's worth noting that the 'email' function of bladeforums works less than half the time, and hasn't worked for me at all in the last 5 knives I've sold. I've had similar problems to what you are dealing with now.
That said, I'd wait a little longer than 4 minutes before moving on to the next person. or clearly identify in the sales thread what your communication and purchasing policies are: "First "I'll take it" get's first dibs on the knife. That individual will have 15 minutes to communicate payment arrangements before moving on to the next individual...."
Sucks, but this happens.
