Looking for a Stainless Asp w/fiddleback ksf sheath? Check post #2023 in the flea market for pics. I've since sharpened it to cray cray sharp. This Asp feels great and fast in hand.

PM me if interested. We can discuss a deal.

Hey Duder- Thanks for the offer, but I may have a potential deal in the works. Thanks!

A Duke and no one wants it?? Really?

The market has been cold lately. I wonder what the deal is. If I did not have a Duke, I would jump all over this one. Someone needs to grab it at this price!!!!

Admittedly, I think too much. That said, I wonder if what we're seeing is the taper after the big publicity push from the new website, etc. Whenever you do a promotional kick off thing, there's a bubble of new interest and customers, but not all of them will "stick." While everything has been building for some time, the recent attention paid to this forum has been intense. The flea market is cooling. Will Fiddleback Friday be next? I hope not, for Andy's sake. But I wonder.

All that said, I certainly don't have all the info. I'm a relative newcomer here, so I don't know the ebb and flow around knife conventions, seasons, etc.

ebbs and flows. Cooling (in the secondary market would be nice); things have gotten a little off kilter.. a nice reset would be good for all since recent feature obsessions have IMO devalued certain models considerably (i.e. if its not bright burlap, tapered, >5", I don't want it...etc.). Either way it will all work out in the end. IMO a lot of people *may* be passing on the duke due to the "black out" handle config... Perfect for a working knife if you ask me, but to blow >300 on a working knife, some folks might want a more overstated handle. I hope the knife sells -- its a really nice piece.

rant over

People put too much emphasis on the flashy at times. I wish I could swap the handle configuration on the Duke to my Hunter. It is a little slimmer than normal but thin is a bit of an overstatement. If I didn't have the Hunter I would keep the Duke. I will say that with any FB I am selling if you don't like it, not for you, wife found out about it, whatever, send it back to me and I will refund you, no biggie.

Wow! That's very nice of you.

Im all about the flash. I don't buy pretty fallknivens to get all nasty down here in the swamp. I use them, but I buy knives like stainless fallknivens to get dirty.
