It is a gift for a friend. He helped introduce me to primitive skills like fire by friction about 20 years ago in college. I have been wanting to get him a fiddleback for awhile. I am going to see him this week. When that kephart popped up, I thought that is the one. Subtle yet elegant and an all around great bushcraft knife. I hope he likes it as much as I do.

Me too. The Frau put me on notice about my knife spending for a while. Still, I've been leaning on her pretty hard since this hit the market. Still have my fingers crossed.

Still got it. I've been whittling down the collection and have had to make some tough decisions lately, but the plan is to keep that one.
