I have been looking at your beautiful knives for a while. Sometime here shortly I'll be getting one. I think I want something in the 4 inch range. Bushcraft type. I'm wanting the handle to be anything but wood. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,
Just food for thought here -- I really enjoy this sub forum along with all of its participating members (new, old, etc). Andy & crew have gone to great lengths to foster a friendly, family oriented environment in which we can all enjoy the Fiddleback Forge experience. In light of the above stated exchange -- let's take this offline; no one wants to air out their dirty laundry in public, and sometimes things can be misconstrued in the heat of the moment, causing them to snowball out of control.

Hopefully this matter can be resolved in an effective, respectful manner offline and we call all resume our day-to-day sharking activities ;).

Back on topic, I've got a few going up this afternoon... chummin' the waters

I happen to know there are a lot of good guys here. They just aren't as loud as the others.

That's enough. You're trolling this thread. Andy isn't online right now to deal with it but if you continue, I will.

Hey Skystorm,
What is the steel on the Kephart you have to sale. I thought I convinced myself I didn't need one but that's a pretty attractive price.

I'll let Sky confirm but I'm pretty sure that he picked up that Kephart up from me a couple weeks back. I'm assuming it's a "catch and release" but I can't say it is. That is 1/8" spalted O1. If I'm right about this, it is a beautiful Kephart with nice bright orange liners. Sky is a GREAT guy to work with. If you want it, I would grab it.

Releasing a few back into the tank, First come first served...

...New- Bear Paw Buschrafter with OD Green canvas micarta over natural with lime pinstripes, Trinity pinout, Tapered Tang, convex on 5/32” spalted 01 steel - $360--350...

...Blueback Bushcrafter with sheath - Black and brown Micarta - Natural / White liners...

Skystorm - does that bearpaw Bushcrafter have a different blade shape than the Blueback Bushcrafter? They look different to my eye but maybe it's a trick of perspective.

Also, what are the different listed prices for (i.e. 315-305-295-285)? Sorry if I'm being dense; I'm new around here.

Just my .02 cents:

- Yes, the profiles are different between the bushcrafter and bearpaw; the bearpaw is slightly larger with a much more prominent point. The tangs are also different; the bushcrafter has a skeletonized full thickness tang; the bear paw has a tapered & skeletonized tang. Both knives are awesome workhorse profiles; just depends on what you are looking for.

- The prices reflect price drops. Refer to the lowest as the current asking price. The highest will be the starting price.

Hope this helps!

Looking for a 18 inch fiddleback machete. Will pay more than what they are worth! Really need for this marsh down here in southern Lousiana!

Going to just put it out there- grail scorpion - although changes to some of the parameters would be fine. If you have a Scorpion you're looking to sell I'm interested.

5/32 preferred (flexible), CPM154 preferred (flexible - O1 is fantastic stuff), Model that has a guard, love a number of style of handles but seem to especially favor various woods, ash, and micarta. Thanks!

You got it Tom!! Thank you!

The Duke is SPF

Gtr60...nice grab on that Duke. Although I'm proud of my self restraint, I know I'll regret it....at least until the next one appears on FF! I'm sorry for your loss MajorD...😄

Thanks lpid64. I'm a sucker for green liners, especially green over natural, and the Duke is one of my favorite profiles.

Couldn't pass this one up with the ridiculous spalting. I bet your matching sneaky pete is a beauty too!
