Here is one up for sale or trade. It is a Bushfinger in Stabilized Curly Maple over natural canvas with white g10 whitewalls. It has a SFT tang of 1/8" thick O1 steel and a thick handle. I picked this one up about a month and a half ago off the flea market to a make a pair with the three finger Karda that I had. I let that one go looking for one for my wife, and I'm letting this go as well because I picked up a Scandi Bushfinger a couple weeks ago.

This one was used by the previous owner. It had a patina from being used in the kitchen, but I flitzed most of it off. However it could probably use a little more work. I tried to show it in the pictures.

I picked this one up used and was told that it has not been used or sharpened and I would agree with that statement looking at the condition. The previous owner however did not properly store the knife so when I received it there was very light rust along the handle of the knife as well as on the very tip, I polished the handle portion and the rust was easily removed the tip I did not bother with as had I decided to keep the knife it would have been used and quickly patina'd to the point of not being noticeable. I mention this only because I know some folks here might want a spotless knife that they are going to stash and not use and they could possibly take issue with the knife. Anyone looking for a user will be thrilled with the condition and I think you can see that from the pictures, I couldn't get the tip staining to show up in pictures as it is too light.

What I am interested in trading for, Fiddleback knives only and mostly interested in 3" and smaller blades, tapered tangs, bolsters would be nice. I would consider a couple of 4" models, specifically the Arete, Bushcrafter and the Gaucho I am going to be very particular on the 4" models but if you have something that is tapered and bolstered I would be especially interested in seeing it.

The white on the blade in these pictures is lint as I had just wiped off a coat of mineral oil for the pictures.

Catch and release

Unfortunately I am letting this go. I literally opened this about an hour ago. I realize now that tapered tangs just don't fit ME. I have very large hands and this is just too thin for MY taste. I can't stress enough that the fit issue is with ME and not the knife. I am in the minority as I like a thick, round, full handle. I even like a heavy knife. :eek: This is sleek, elegant and beautifully contoured but too thin for my fit.
