Ok, I am having to regroup some here. So, I am selling my machete and HJE leather sheath. These are older pics, but the only thing different is that it has a small dent near the lower end, and the machete has been used but not abused. I think it is still a good deal. I'll post a recent pic later when I get back in, or first thing in the morning. If you are interested email or PM me and I'll take a pic with a flash later tonight if you wish. Oh, and just the machete and sheath, the Bushfinger isn't for sale.

Great condition, lightly used a few times and I might have lightly stropped it once. No sheath with this one.








Fiddleback Forge Asp – $275 - 1/8” A2 steel, skeletonized full thickness tang, tuxedo with a twist configuration - black canvas micarta, natural canvas micarta pins and liners, orange G10 pinstripes. Blade length is approximately 3.75", overall length is approximately 8.25", weight is 4.9 ounces.

Great condition - lightly used in the kitchen a few times and some light patina remains. I don't recall if I did or not but I might have lightly stropped it once. I didn't notice anything else when polishing it for the pics below, but since it has been used, there may some other very faint scuffs that are not readily noticeable. This one does not come with a sheath.

Details:

Natural canvas on natural canvas with an orange g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick 01 steel.

This is somewhat rare for a few reasons:

Two 1/4" pins instead of the standard Fiddleback pin layout.
Combination of spalting and hammered flats (see pic below)
Woodchucks do not appear very often and the last one to come out of the Forge was about 6 months ago as far as I know.

It has been used but not abused (I take care of my knives). While it has been used for some feathersticks, most of it's use has been in the kitchen and therefore it has a patina. I will remove the patina before shipping if buyer prefers.

Includes a great RLO sheath that matches the blade profile, showing off that unique Woodchuck shape.

Hate to do this, but as they say "life happens". So here is a lightly used Bushfinger. Amazing Black ash burl with spalting that just pops in A2 steel.
