Arrrgh...cannot believe I missed them...great snag guys! Super knives! Burlap is totally worth it...

To me the burlap is a bonus. I chose this Kephart for two reasons: one because I only have it in 1/8", two because it had a synthetic handle. But you are right, that evergreen burlap is mighty fine looking with the trinity pin out. I love the look of tapered tangs, and I carry an EDCII all the time with one. But for larger knives, the purchase I get on an SFT is better, IMO, with an SFT than a tapered one. YMMV.

If for any reason you don't like it, as if that would ever happen, let me know.

Totally agree on the tangs. Still looking for a EDCII or Runt myself. Just missed the cornflower blue G10 that m31m put up the other day. That stainless is pretty nice stuff...

That one was in 3/16 too I think, if my memory serves. It was hard not to go for that one.

Thanks.....this will be my first burlap handled knife.....can't wait to hold her & squeeze her and......:o

I have a ladyfinger in the drunken burlap and it really is amazing how grippy it is. I wasn't drawn to them at first until I heard how well they function even when wet. Now I am a believer and hooked!

I tried to buy that from you last week when you only wanted to trade.

Nice man, that will match your sneaky pete!

Sorry someone had PMed me a couple of minutes before you posted sorry.

No worries. Alas, my quest for the elusive hiking buddy continues on...

Good luck with your quest! Although side tracked along the way by other models, I love the HB, and am still actively on the quest for the perfect one. Here's to the Hiking Buddy quest!

schmittie is considering trading his tapered, red, bolstered Bushfinger for one of three potential knives above. But I think that is it. CF apparently sold his HB.

Thanks. I wish someone had a lot of stainless they wanted to unload.
