You ever wanna peddle that baby off I got dibs. :)

I'll keep you in mind. I've had a hiking buddy for some time and love it. And I just snagged the bushboot from you and it has reinvigorated me on smaller blades :-). I figured why not try the EDCII as well.

I have a Hiking Buddy and a Bushboot, as well as a couple of EDC II's and an original EDC. I just seem to prefer this size blade over either smaller or larger ones for everyday use. If I were going camping and wanted to chop wood then something larger would make sense.

Hello Fellow Fiddlebackians!
I am considering trading one of these out (very maybe both) For either an other Hiking Buddy or Duke (cash and or other trades apply to make difference either way). Let me know your thoughts!

Hiking Buddy, Model Standard Knife, Ivory Linen micarta on black g10 with a white g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick 3D Spalted 01 steel

Hiking Buddy, Ironwood Burl bolsters and African Blackwood scales on natural canvas with a white g10 pinstripe, SFT Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick 3D Spalted 01 steel

Also up for trades!

Karda, Tuxedo Config, Full 5/32” thick tang, Convex on 3D Spalted 01 steel

Bush boot (2012 model?). Acid etched flats with satin finish grinds. Black linen micarta scales with white and natural canvas micarta liners. Full tang construction with 3/16" blade thickness and 1" blade depth. Comes with a Blind Horse sheath that fits it decently, although I forgot the sheath number. I'm asking $230 with the sheath, or $210 without. Shipping included. Very slightly used (slightly as in you can't tell it was every used), and never sharpened.

Wow, drooling over that bush boot! Wish I had the funds right now, but I've been on a buying spree over the past week. I'd like to stay married if possible!

They are. Andy said he was going to put scandis on the back burner for a while; he's not a huge scandi fan. If that is 3/16", it has to be a one off or one of five. I could be wrong though.

I can double check the width when I get home. I purchased it online (not from bladeforums) a while back, and the description said 3/16". I'll run home over lunch and verify.

That is an interesting knife. I am surprised it is still here to be honest. The rare was generally disappear fast.

afaik Andy has only ever done scandi grinds on 1/8" and 3/32" and I'm pretty sure this one is 1/8".

KephaC Let em know if you decide to sell that Karda for cash - I would definitely be interested! Thanks Jim
