Hey everyone. I have a KPH for sale. Brand new. Got a little carried away last week. Picked this up from Scott's batch at USA Made Blades, then got lucky during FBF. Wasn't going to cancel my order on him though. Also bought the Hiking Buddy he had which may have to go as well, but haven't decided. In any case, Scott has unreal fast service and seems like a great guy, so thanks Scott!

Listed as: This KPH from Andy Roy with Fiddleback Forge is 8 inches overall with a 3 1/2 inch cutting edge. The knife is full tang and made from 1/8th thick O1 Steel. The scales are blue oak with yellow over black.

I think it might be red oak, but could be wrong. Knife feels amazing in the hand, really like it.

$Sold, no trades at this time. I will take the hit on shipping and PP fees. Will ship USPS. Thanks for looking!

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a Sneaky Pete and was hoping someone had what I'm looking for...

Wanted
Sneaky Pete, 1/8" tapered tang, preferably new and unused or near perfect condition. I'm really into the subdued earthy handles and liners and micarta or burlap is on the top of my list. Please PM me with anything you guys have that might fit the bill. I only have one other FB so no trades will be possible at this time but I'm ready to buy as soon as I find my match.

P.S- I'm looking for my perfect Sneaky Pete so please don't be offended if something you offer isn't quite what I'm looking for, as we all know all of Andy's knives are works of art and I'm just looking for my perfect match!

Hey guys,

Well I paid for a Gold membership late last week it seems it hasn't been processed yet but I figured I'd throw out what I'm searching for while I wait....

You have to go to your settings and change your membership status. That should fix it.

Yep, it's Red Oak. I have the Hiking Buddy that matches it if you are interested...

That is a lovely KPH.

It is lovely, it needs a good home!

Thought that might be the case, thanks for confirming. Prefer to sell, but if no one wants it, I will keep it in mind. Thanks!

In any case, she's here at work, waiting to be walked to the post office and on her way to a lucky new owner!

Why doesn't the KPH seem to get as much love as some of the other models? I think it's a great blade and it slices like no ones business. It's got nice lines and a pretty shape. Any thoughts sharks?

The shape is just not as aesthetically pleasing as many of its counterparts IMHO.

Hmm different strokes for different folks I suppose. I happen to think its one his best shaped knives. I can see how its function may be limited in the field, but I could stare at it a day!

I think that there are not many big game hunters in this knife aficionado crowd. Many knife nuts like the outdoors and they like using knives and developing and practicing skills in the bush/woods, but the KPH is really, really good at what it was designed to do, dress and skin game. It is not a bushcrafting blade, you should not do even light batoning with it. It does meet a particular niche, and surpasses all others in the lineup for the designed application. I just do not think that many require this capability. You can skin a deer with Kephart, a KPH will do it better and more efficiently. But you can also do light batoning with a Kephart or a Bushfinger. I think that this is probably the issue with the KPH. I happen to love the knife, and Rick Lowe has a great sheath design for it. So my advice is fork out a little more for a sheath, and use it.

I hate seeing the water so calm around here...

2014 0328 005 – Recluse, Tuxedo Config, SFT Tang, Convex on 1/8" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel - $265

Spalting is really nice on this one. Never used. I did lightly hit the micarta with Howard's Wax for preservation. It will wash right out if you want a lighter micarta. I've owned several Recluses and this has the nicest spalting and what seems to be a wider blade than all the others. It's nice.

Price includes 2-3 day priority shipping and paypal fees. First "I'll take it" followed by PM gets it. If you don't do both, it goes to the first person that does.

No response? Ok. $15 off to everybody. That's $250. KephaC your price is $550 million.
