Hello Fiddleback Forum,

First post in this Sub Forum - hope I’m following the rules.

I’ve got a Duke for sale. The knife is beautiful, so much so that it’s not getting any use.

I’m far from an expert, or novice when it comes to Fiddleback Forge knives. I’ll happily answer questions to the best of my ability.

Knife was sold to me in lightly used condition, it remains the same. I was told the steel is 01, based on the patina forming.. I’d guess 01 as well (though it may be A2). The stock is a hair over 3/16, tapers to a nice point, retaining full thickness through the handle. I assume it’s got a skeletonized tang. Balance is excellent, right at the first finger. Scales are a nice green burlap, Kelly green ? Not too bright, not too dark. Black / toxic green pinstripe liners. Edge is ground nice and thin, not so thin that you couldn’t beat on this knife though, cuts very well. Will come in a lefty JRE sheath, wet molded by me. This was the first sheath I wet molded - turned out OK, could probably use another dampening.
