I do need to try out one of Andy's 3/32 scandies. It not so much the grind for me, as it has been the grind coupled with the thickness I think. I just can't suffer a knife that smushes cheese when I try to slice it :)
 
I may catch and release it, i haven't owned a HB yet that's why I jumped on it. That's a great thing about Andy's knives and how they hold value, you can often get close to or what you paid back in resale. Sometimes I feel like I don't actually own any knives I just rent them because I turn them over so fast, lol.
As far as the Scandi grind, I don't have a disliking to it at all, I think it's a great grind on a tool, very functional and easy to maintain, it's just not my first choice for aesthetic reasons, but I do fully appreciate it's function.
 
WANTED; Bushcrafter with Synthetic handle, (no wood), CPM154 Stainless blade, (but will consider 01 if the handle is a must have), full tang, (no Scandi grind) new or used,

If you don't have any luck and would consider a bushfinger, i have the one from yesterday in maroon micarta 5/32, 01 that I may consider trading or selling once I get it on Thursday.

Thanks. But I have Bushfinger in that exact configuration. The post says it all. There isn't any other Fiddleback knife that I want or need right now, except the Bushcrafter in that configuration. I'll keep prying. I am basicly throwing a blank check (paypal) out there for the right knife, it does not get better than that for a seller! (within reason LOL).

I have been having trouble sending replies to PM's for the last two days. I received your 3 PM's and agree to what you proposed. I replied to the PM's, but I am not sure that they went through.

On a separate note, I have been trying unsuccessfully to reply to an e-mail from mistwalker for two days and it keeps getting rejected by the server. I am not sure what is going on there, maybe heavy weekend traffic or something.

EDC II: 5/32" 01 steel, fiddletextured, with a tapered tang covered in beautiful paduk over black g10 with a white g10 pinstripe.
