That almost seems like a Custom Production Hiking Buddy, which are usually S35VN not A2 like their description. It has a current type maker's mark but not the bullseye lanyard. Good find!

It’s definitely an odd configuration! I would have thought harder about it if I hadn’t snagged that bloodwood Bushraptor from Choppa.
