Noted,
There are also a lot of folks who collect knives who are not internet / forum savvy nor spend as much time as some of us do online. I'll be forward in saying that if my purchase(s) concern any members due to the fact that any parties involved are not "gold" , then I will happily pay blade forums for a membership for said parties to ensure that all transactions are in compliance with the sub forum. It is interesting that when deals work in favor of certain parties , nothing is said but when it is not to ones benefit this becomes an issue. At days end rules are rules and if it is a matter of keeping Andy's secondary market thriving and in compliance with forum rules then I'll take the hit.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll contact the mods to make this right.

Just another technical/software issue to point out is Tapatalk doesn't differentiate a posters membership level. I almost exclusively use my phone for forum time and would have no idea I just purchased a knife from an unauthorized user.

Man, you guys need to read the rules! I posted (clear as day) yesterday that you cannot post for sale items in this thread if you are a registered user! I even posted a link to the rules! It's disrespectful posting for sale items and even buying items from registered users after that, especially since that guy has been around since 2009. COME ON!!!

Do you realize this Flea Market thread keeps Fiddlebacks out of the exchange and out of the eyes of the greater part of Bladeforums! Do you realize what a significant advantage that give us in scoring Fiddlebacks?!?!

If you purchase from a registered user, you're just as guilty. You (the buyer) are contributing to the Flea Market's/our advantage's end.

RESPECT THIS SUBFORUM OR GET OUT.

Rant over. I had to say that.

Nicely said. Thanks for the watching out Joe.

I appreciate this attitude, and thank you for the consideration. Plus, I am quite sure this has brought attention to the community in a broader sense than it was there before, so that is positive. This has happened three or four times now, and Morrow has been here to help me straighten it out.

It's all of our responsibility. I simple nudge like- "Hey man, Registered users aren't allowed to post for sale items..." This will help keep things clean and promote the Flea Market's longevity.

This will work for isolated incidents, but will fail over time due to the non PC savvy folks just not knowing about the requirement.

I hope this doesn't happen again. A registered user selling in here could result in these types of threads no longer being allowed in maker's forums. There is no excuse for this. Andy's first post in the thread spells out requirements.

With the exception of threads like this one, all business takes place in the Exchange. The ability to start threads in the Exchange is based your membership. For example, you could start a thread in the For Sale: Production Fixed Blades (Individual) forum but a registered user can't. This thread is a bit more informal. So to answer your question, everyone who participates in this thread has a responsibility to know the rules and follow them. Read Joe Duder's post above...he spells it out perfectly.

Folks, Bladeforums has always been at the heart of my business. Morrow has helped me again and again with this and has been very patient with us. Thank you for helping once again Morrow. PM sent.

I am looking to buy a Bone (or Stag if they exist) handled Fiddleback. I know they are rare, willing to pay a premium…...

Rumor has it, you've got a better shot with Kate Upton than obtaining a stag/bone FB :). Good luck though!

I think 1-2 ...ever...Kate Upton......uh sorry just blacked out for a second there ;)

There are some nice ones. They do a good job with the pics. Makes me want to buy. Where there any other beauties that already went?

I grabbed a natural canvas raptor. I'm not sure what was taken before I got there.
