Fiddleback Forge Knives “Woodsman “ Passaround

Sounds good HD, insured for $201. it is.

Like Andy said, I don't want people taking advantage of his generosity and forgetting about sending the knife on and have it sit for 2 weeks.

After just wrapping up a passaround I started in FEB over in WSS and not having one of the DVD's make it back to me I understand the concern about passing it on;)

Just a quick suggestion.

Insure for 201

According to the PO the insurance only covers the knife from the time you send it to the time they deliver it.

So if it sets in your mailbox while you are at work and somebody steals it you are out of luck.

HOWEVER, if you insure for anything over 200 bucks then the PO requires a signature and will not leave it in the box.

IMO this is much safer.

Also:

I don't get home till after dark so if it is possible for me to have 2 of the days I'm supposed to have it on the weekend then I can go in my woods and take pics:tu:

Great tip on the insurance:thumbup:
As for "daylight," I was thinkin' "woo-hoo!, it'll be snowin' when I get it!" but, it will also be DARK before I get home. If I get it any day between Monday and Wednesday, I am screwed. I have to take a chance that I won't even get to get decent pics. I don't mind playing with it (THE KNIFE, Jake) in the dark though.

Please guys, hold onto the knife until you can get some pics, and use the knife a good bit.

There will be more passarounds guys! I think this is fun!

Andy, I think this is great! I've been looking at your knives, and the chance to actually try one out is just what the doctor ordered!

Tony, did you get my info email???

:eek:Whatever do you mean?;) I will be good. I promise.

I know you will, because if you don't I have your wife take something of yours out of the box in the dresser drawer that she has had for the last 7 years and smash them with a mallet:eek:

:p:D

Whew, thanks for reserving me a spot, Andy/Tony! I really appreciate it, thanks a ton for the passaround, Andy, and of course I agree to the rules. You can put me on the end of the list if you like, since I think I'm the only other one in Georgia too?

Email inbound, Tony.

I'm already thinking of what projects I can try with it for my review. Been thinking about making my own bow for awhile, maybe that'll do. ;)
